Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. will this work for the nikomat/nikkormat?

A: Yes, this will work in any 35mm film camera.

Q: 2. I used this film with Nikon FM-10 and Sekonic L-308X-U on a daylight, i sat my light meter to 400 ISO, am following the light meter readings and i still getting under exposed images, what u think is my problem. (**note** camera is in good condition)

A: Most probably your light meter is off and needs calibration.

Q: 3. I do not find the info of expiry date... The product photo says its 04/2013. Could you please specify this? Thanks.

A: B&H buys and sells film in bulk. In general we regularly maintain fresh film stock. All of our film is at least 6 months from expiration (typically much longer). Anytime film stock is less than 6 months from expiration we sell it in a separate section and label it as short-dated film and also price it with a slight discount (again due to the volumes we sell this rarely occurs). Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory to hand inspect the expiration date of any of our films prior to purchase.

Q: 4. Due to this fact that film negative is highly sensitive to XRays. I want to make sure during the shipping my package will not be exposed to the x Ray at costumes. How can I make sure about it?

A: Gernerally, Xrays may only effect ISO 800 or higher. Lower speeds should not be effected.

Q: 5. Will this work for a Minolta 7s

A: This is a box of 5 rolls of 35mm roll film and not 120mm roll film so yes it will fit your Minolta 7s.

Q: 6. Will this film work for my Pentax k1000?

A: yes

Q: 7. Does this film work for the kodamatic 960 instant camera?

A: No, this is 4x5 film for large format cameras, it is not instant film.

Q: 8. Will this film work with the Olympus stylus zoom 140 point and shoot? I am a beginner and really would love to know!

A: Yes it is compatible with your camera.

Q: 9. Is this a Tungsten Film

A: No this is not, it is daylight balanced.

Q: 10. Does it work for the Kodak Colorburst 250?

A: This film would not work with a Kodak Colorburst 250, since that camera used specific instant film.

[160] more subtle and natural looking than Ektar. Warmer than Fuji counterpart. generally considered to be a great portrait film stock.

[5] I've been shooting Portra 400 for some time but have found I'm shooting in enough natural light that a lower ISO works and yields less grain. Colors are amazing for portraits.

[Acetate] Most of the time purchasing the film, I buy Ektar for the price and it's colors or Portra 400 for being versatile. However, even though I rarely buy Portra 160, I have most of my favorite photos taken on it.

I should stop dismissing it and use it more often. If you are on the fence, try it - it's a good film.
