Q: 9. I have a TRAM TR-50 lav mic that is made to use with the Senn EW100 G3 system. I have teh Senn ME2 as well that came with the G3 kit. I would like to be able to use both the TR-50 and the ME2 wired to my SD-302. Since the TR-50 is wired to work with the G3 I assume this would work to use it wired (in lieu of the TRAM TR 79+ unit for the same purpose). Can anyone who as ACTUALLY done this confirm that it will work? I too assume it will, but would like to hear from someone who has actually done it if at all possible. Thanks!

A: I know it doesnt work with my Countryman B3. I think it is tuned for the ME2. It clips and distorts with my Countryman. It is possible if the TRAM is similar sensitivity as ME2.

[1.885 lb] I got this to pre-amplifiy wireless microphones into an amp using 1/4 inputs. IT woked perfect but amazinegly it gave a nice tonal to the voice sound making the sound very beatiful. 5

[500 mA] This tiny preamp is simply amazing, it outperforms several other preamps I tried, many times the price of this one (such as the Schiit Freya). The sound is extremely detailed, dynamic, crystal clear, lush, the soundstage is both deep and wide, it provides an airiness I don't find in other preamps. To put my review into context, I am running it with a NAIM NAP-250 end stage and Pearl Acoustics Sibelius speakers (highly revealing). 5

[500 mA] TV signal levels are all over the map when using an external amplifier. If you turn down the theme music of a program, the dialog is way too quiet. When you have the dialog at a comfortable level, the music jars you out of the chair. You get the picture. I got fed up and decided to get the Rolls SL33b limiter. I hooked it up, put the knob pointers mid-way (straight up)and haven't needed to use the volume control on the amplifier since. It does the job perfectly. If you're an audiophile, you may not appreciate the over-all sound quality. Music seems a little squashed but NOT distorted. That's why they call it a limiter. The dynamic range is compressed. It is a very acceptable compromise for smooth listening. The SL33b is well made and very compact. You can easily set it, hide it and forget where you hid it. 5

[1.885 lb] I kind of cheated. I used a Mullard (National electric of India) 12ax7 instead of the stock tube, which i hear is very nice. This preamp simply outperforms my Schiit audio Saga. It has all of the nuance and detail, but an air and slight lushness/warmth that others lack. It does anything sonically my former Quicksilver tube preamp did, but better for a fraction of the cost. This is a low cost/high end sounding product...full stop. So, support American jobs, experiance high fidelity and get a Bellari PA-555. 5

[Black] Using between microphone and amp for a simple PA system in a large dining hall. Handheld recorder plugged into the high impedance line while feeding the XLR to the amp. Works great. 5

[500 mA] Suddenly there's a safe wired in-ear monitor system for a fraction of the cost of other solutions! I called Rolls and they verified that the PM55P is a PM55 with the addition of a limiter to protect your ears from loud sounds like feedback. This is critical for replacing your boomy floor wedges with ear-buds, if you want to keep you hearing intact. It's built like a tank, has smooth dials and switches, and uses battery or an included AC adaptor. We place the PM55P on the floor instead of using the belt clip which is sort of useless. There's is a loud click when using the power button, so make sure your ear buds are out when switching on/off. The limiter works better than other's I've tried because it doesn't keep lowering the volume at every tiny louder input. Instead, this is at full volume until something seriously loud hits the unit. I think there's only one other manufacturer doing this at this price point. I picked this becuase it seems like the best all-around choice. Good Luck! 5

[Black] I'm using this as a talk back headphone feed to my talent in a voice booth. I have a complicated multi-channel headphone mixer/amp that can give a whole band a custom mix, but there's no mic input. So I used to have a complicated setup just to have someone do a bit of narration or whatever. With this little box, you have a simple, functional setup where the talent and I can hear each other simply and without affecting the recording. The intended use is more likely to use this for actual program audio feed and monitor for a sound tech or boom operator. I'm sure it will work well for that and I intend to use it that way too. Nice to get multiple uses out of this box as compared to my previous devices that were so cumbersome to use, even for their intended purpose. 5
