Q: 1. Does this separate lens come with its own case? I want to have different lenses for the spotlight mount

A: Unfortunately, the Aputure Spotlight Mount 19° Lens does not include a case.

Q: 2. I have a glass desk that fits the width requirements, but I'm curious whether or not anyone has mounted it on glass? Any issues?

A: I have it mounted on a small glass top desk, it comes with a small rubber pad wich you just stick on the bracket to tighten. So far it holds good! No complaints.

Q: 3. Can anyone tell me the outer diameter of the pole this mounts on and if if the height can be adjusted quickly (uses a clamp or other quick release, not screws)?

A: It looks like I missed this email, caught it when cleaning up my inbox. But if the info can be used for future buyers, I am happy to respond. The standing support is 1 1/4 Dia., and yes the bracket that supports the arms has a lever (as shown in the picture) that can easily be adjusted up or down. The question wasn't asked, but the standing support is 16 tall. Hope this helps!

Q: 4. Is this lens better for tighter spaces?

A: Yes, this Aputure Spolight Mount 19° Lens would be ideal for tighter spaces where you need a more concentrated beam.

Q: 5. Can you set the monitors side by side at different heights? (i.e., I have 2 different sizes of monitors and I like them set so the top edges line up, not the centers...)

A: Monitor heights cannot be independently adjusted.

Q: 6. Will the clamp fit through a 2.5 inch hole? My cubicle backs up to a wall, i'd have to insert the clamp into the extra cable hole in the desk.

A: It depends on the exact shape and depth of the hole. The mounting flange is just shy of 2.5 but is D shaped (to go along a wall). The flange may or may not fit into the hole as the longest distance from the corner of the D to the opposite rounded edge is closer to 3 . However the clamping depth/height may allow for the rounded portion to fit to the hole and allow you to bring the entire clamp forward so that the rear-flat part of the D can take up the diameter of the hole. If the hole is only 2.5 and the desk thickness is more than 1.5 you might not be able to fit the clamp.But if the desk is about 1.5 and the hole is a generous 2.5 you will probably be fine.

Q: 7. I'm new to this kind of stuff but have 2 LED displays. Does it matter if I have LED or LCD displays for this mount to be compatible?

A: Makes no difference. the bracket does not discriminate. What does matter is whether your monitors have a 3 or 4 hole pattern for mounting, but these two hole patterns are typical to just about all monitors.

Q: 8. I'm assuming yes but, will this work with the Shogun 7?

A: Yes, unit will mount to both Atomos AtomX 5 and 7

Q: 9. Does it work with the Aputure 300d?

A: It is a accessory for the Spotlight attachment set https://bhpho.to/2Xn4I1u. The set can be used with a 300d.

Q: 10. Does the tilt adjustment need to be fully tightened down to support a 7" monitor? If the tilt adjustment is left slightly loose, can the monitor be tilted with one hand while still remaining well supported (without falling forward)?

A: While the Atomos AtomX 5 and 7" Monitor Mount can support a 7" monitor it may not be wise to leave the tilt lose while operating, as it may not hold in position when the camera is bumped or moved.

[13.28 lb] Very well built and come with more than enough hardware for any and all monitors. The only gripe that I have is that each monitor doesn’t move independently. What I mean by that is the top two and bottom two are vertically dependent. If you wanna move the bottom right up, the bottom left will have to move up with it. 5

[13.28 lb] This is my first desk mount and it came in the mail within a week of purchase. The instructions were very clear and it was very easy to install. Tools were provided. I like that you have the choice of clamping it to the back of your desk or installing the grommet. I chose the clamping because I didn't want to make a hole in my desk. This is the only affordable desk mount that I saw where the arms are gas spring arms so you have a full range of motion and the clamp isn't two metal plates so it's very stable. 5

[13.28 lb] This is a great product. I love my monitor stack. I wish I had bought this years ago. It is very sturdy, made of heavy duty material. The arms are very adjustable. Clamps to the desk very securely. The screws and brackets made mounting the monitors very easy. Great product. 5
