[0.33 lb] Just got these gloves about a week ago and used them for the first time as a grip this past weekend. We were only using a 1200 Watt Arri HMI and some Kinos, but I didn't feel any heat on the HMI so that was good! As far as the size goes, they fit me perfectly, but I did try on both sizes at B&H.

I have used them heavily for about two weeks now, and there doesn't seem to be any sign of wear or tear, aside from the the loose threading that comes from the red threads. They prevent any burning and let me do the job I need to do when handling hot lights. I would say it's well worth it, but the pricing is, I feel, too steep for these gloves.

[0.33 lb] I was happy to see these on sale. There comes a time in a relic theater venutme when you simply have to relamp or aim/focus a hot fixture. Having these hanging from my belt means I can negotiate the antiquated catwalk safely, do the job, and descend without giant gauntlets either on my hands or about to fall from my clumsy hands into the house below.

These gloves were absolutely wonderful, and incredibly versatile. They went a long way to protect against the heat of set lights, and the cold of outdoor winter locations. I don’t know what I would have done if I didn’t have them. They were worth every dollar I spent on them.
