[0.035 lb] Without a doubt, this is the best shockmount I've used! I use mine with an NTG4, and it virtually eliminates handling and shock noises.

The only thing I've noticed is that with the NTG4, which is short, you have to move the Lyres to the center positions to use the Rode WS6 wind shield..... which is then front heavy and droops. This is not a flaw with the SM4-R, just a compatability issue with mic and windscreen combination. Without the windshield, or with a shorter windshield, you can set the Lyres at the wider positions, and the problem goes away. With the NTG4+, which is longer it's not an issue.

[0.035 lb] I put my Sennheiser 416 shotgun mic in this shock mount in my VoiceOver booth and was surprised that it made a big difference. I was using a standard mount on a short mic stand on thin acoustical foam and thought I was fine.
After recording some spots, I noticed in processing that I didn't have to search to remove unwanted frequency responses. It sounded great like it was.
I can't wait to try this shock mount on a boom pole.

[0.035 lb] I ordered this for the RODE NTG3B and its such a good shock-mount! I accidentally bumped my arm on the mic stand where the shock-mount is located and I did not hear a thing on my shotgun mic. Its worth every dollar and its very useful and also way more easier to put the mic in the shock-mount compared to the stock mount of the NT3GB. 10/10 Highly recommended

[0.035 lb] I use this with my AT8035 and it worked great. I purchased this one for myself personally but have also had two employees purchase it as well for their production setups. It's nice, works well, is constructed in a sturdy way and a decent price.
