The DN32-ADAT card allows you to seamlessly integrate your Midas M32 or Behringer X32 digital mixing console with any ADAT I/O compatible device. This includes stand-alone recorders, digital audio workstations, or other similarly equipped digital mixers and signal processors.

Capable of providing up to 32 channels of ADAT I/O via 4 pairs of optical-fiber TOSLINK connectors arranged in groups of 8 channels, the DN32-ADAT features 24-bit signal transmission and your choice of a 44.1 or 48 kHz sample rate. The optical-fiber, light-pipe connections provide absolute galvanic isolation, which completely eliminates ground-loop interference for unparalleled signal integrity.

Any of the DN32-ADAT's inputs can be used as a Clock Master for your console's internal clock, ensuring sample-accurate synchronization with external audio processing devices. The additional BNC word clock In/Output can serve either as a professional master clock source for more complex digital audio systems, or can receive the word clock from the system. Standard 75-ohm coaxial cables with BNC connectors are used for word clock distribution throughout.

A: thank you for your question. This unit does not have a primary deesser effect available but you can achieve a similar effect but a combination of EQ and compression.

Q: 2. So if I'm running a Pro2 at FOH and another Pro2 in MON, I'd need to buy 2 of these to get discrete attenuator control (master/master preamp control) for each console?

A: The DL431 features 3 sets of outputs. The two variable gain preamps are remote controllable from two separate locations, such as front of house and monitor positions. ( rear panel). The front panel is a transformer-isolated split and fixed gain.

Q: 3. Is this price for a pair?

A: The Klark Teknik DN9620 AES50 Extender is a single unit.

Q: 4. Can this device act as an AES50 splitter? Another words, can it take a single input Cat5 AES50 cable and output 2 separate AES50 signals?

A: No, this is a simple redundant repeater.

Q: 5. Does this unit work with the Midas 32 live?

A: Yes. The Midas DL153 Stagebox is compatible with all Midas digital consoles and audio system engines, as well as with any other AES50-equipped devices.

Q: 6. Can you use two DN9630's at one time on a Mac? Can you create an aggregate device with both devices plugged into a mac?

A: Just one at a time may be used. They cannot be aggregated via the Mac's USB port.

Q: 7. Will this convert 96k from my Midas to 48k so I can record 48ch at one time? Doesnt it take two aes50 cables to get 48 channels one way into something. My desk runs at 96k but Id be ok recording at 48k but Im guessing I would need a converter to go from 96k to 48k.

Q: 9. Does anyone know the best way to color correct (CTB on a tungsten light for example) this light?

A: If the tungsten light placed in this softbox does not have a dedicated gel frame, one could attach a CTB gel on the inner baffle of the light using wooden clothes pins. However, this may require the softbox to be vented due to the build-up of heat that may occur. Your results may vary.

Q: 10. will it be compatible with R100 ?

A: The Tilta Expansion Baseplate for Canon R50 is not compatible with Canon R100.

[8.9 x 6.8 x 2"] I purchased this card because I long suspected the card that came installed in my M32r was no good. I do a lot of professional multitrack recordings and was having a lot of trouble getting my computer and the console to read each other. It would take a lot of plugging, unplugging, and replugging, reboots of the console and the computer, and rebooting pro tools a million times before they would read each other. I replaced the card with this one from B&H and it fires up first time, every time. No problems. 5

[8.9 x 6.8 x 2"] I am delighted with this new ADAT to USB interface from RME. This unit is very new and many vendors were not even carrying it yet. Thanks to B&H for ordering it for me! I received delivery of this special order in less than 2 weeks. Prior to this piece of hardware becoming available it was difficult to find a device or interface with 4 ADAT inputs. Now I can bring 16 channels of audio at 24bit / 96khz into my Audio workstation or laptop. Note, while I like recording at 96 kHz, using a sample rate of 48khz will allow throughput of 32 channels of audio and increasing sample rate to 192khz will limit throughput to 8 channels. I am using the RME Digiface USB along an RME Babyface Pro which allows me to bring another 4 optical channels at the same bit and sample rate into my workstation. To control input from the Digiface USB simultaneously while using the Babyface Pro requires separate TotalFX software control windows for each device (the manual explains this in more detail). I am currently bringing in 8 channels from an Audient ASP880 preamp and will add another 8 channel preamp soon. One thing that definitely stands out, is how small and compact this device is...maybe less than a quarter of the size of the Babyface Pro. So it will not take up a lot of space on your desk or in your kit. Same excellent quality and function that I have enjoyed from RME in the past. 5

[0.65 lb] I tried Tetra and H3-VR. Even Zylia. Each has their strength. But I find best balance of quality and ease of use with Voyage Mic. It works charmingly well with my Galaxy Note 8 and N-Track app. Audio separation is clear with this 2nd order mic. 5

[8.9 x 6.8 x 2"] I’m very happy to own these speakers. I’ve done several events with just the Bluetooth capabilities. Not only can you stream your music but also control all your audio sounds levels with app and to top it off, you can pair 2 speakers to run in stereo via Bluetooth. I have controlled my music, mics and speakers wirelessly from my iPhone/iPad. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on sound and it never fails that someone will come up to me to ask what brand speakers I’m using. Turbosound is not a well known commercial brand but don’t let that fool you. These provide excellent bass and mid/high sound. My only con is the weight but the sound will make you forget about that. For all the features ,well built and durability , they are well worth the price , seriously. 5

[0.65 lb] This thing is well worth the price, as we use a separate computer to mix our broadcast audio through a DAW. This thing allows us to have that computer in our broadcast studio with no loss of audio quality! Much better than running 100ft of USB, if it would even send anything at that range. 5
