A: Dracast lists the powersupply for specific models of light and does nto list the size or type of connector.

A: The Photometrics is 3300 Lux at 1 meter -3.2 ft.

Q: 3. I recently purchased the Dracast LED500. I'm looking for a solution to diffuse the light and also protect the bulbs. The way that the light ships, it does not come with any glass or plastic over the bulbs. This product looks like what you would need to start with, but once this product is purchased, what's next? Where can I get drop in diffusion for it?

A: That light should ship with a clear LED board protector in it already. A: There are a few different softboxes that will work. The one I would recommend on the top is Dracast Softbox for LED500, B&H # DRSB500 MFR # SB-500.

A: Maybe 10 feet

Q: 7. Can I mount this Dracast LED500 Plus Series Bi-Color LED Light to the hot shoe of a Canon XF200 camcorder, with or without any additional mounting hardware, or does it have to be mounted/secured on a stand?

A: Unfortunately, this light is not recommended for on-camera use due to the weight. It is recommended for use on a light stand.

Q: 8. What would be some average camera settings for LED500 daylight at 6 feet, with an ISO 400? I would think that at 3 feet, it would gain 2 F-stops?

A: I cannot answer that question directly, having no experience in actuatlly taking photographs with our lights, as opposed to just knowing how they work. However, I can tell you that at six feet, a daylight LED500 should be able to produce 1550 Lux, or 144 Fc. Q: 9. Which one is brighter? This X or Silver series? I can see this is newer with different looking LEDs.

A: silver has a bit of a higher output and battery flexibility using a v-mount system.

A: No , the stand is sold separately

[1.2 lb] Works perfect since it's built for it. Do NOT buy a bi color or a 3200 K LED 500.� Buy a daylight balanced one at 5600K and gel it to bring it to 3200 when you need it. 5

[1.2 lb] I have had a tungsten model and daylight model of this light. I really like how simple it is. For lighting up a scrim or accenting a wall it works great. The daylight is about 1/3 of a stop brighter than the tungsten balanced light. I like that its dead quiet and simple to use. The added V mount bracket included is super handy as well. 5

[1.2 lb] It was great for B&H to work with me while I was heading out of the country, confirming a cross country delivery near the international boarder while I was out of the country and to have the product waiting for me right after I crossed the boarder back into the United States.
