Tc Electronic Mojomojo Overdrive Pedal Paul Gilbert Edition

Tc Electronic Mojomojo Overdrive Pedal Paul Gilbert Edition
  • Product Code: eq159591
  • Availability: In Stock

$267.00 $405.84

With greater dynamics and headroom than your typical drive pedal, the MojoMojo Overdrive Paul Gilbert Edition from TC Electronic sports a higher-than-average internal operating voltage for an open character and less compression. Featuring active 2-band EQ control and a gain boost switch that literally goes to 11, MojoMojo offers versatile clarity.

This version of the MojoMojo drive maintains Paul Gilbert's preferred voicing setting, providing a massive gain boost instead of voice control for even more drive and attack. With true bypass, you maintain your tone when the pedal is disengaged, preventing tone suck. The compact form factor makes it easy to fit MojoMojo on your pedalboard, and the sturdy die-cast metal body will survive years of touring. MojoMojo Overdrive can be powered by an easy-to-access 9V battery or a 9V power supply (both sold separately).

One of the reasons why TC Electronic has achieved such a dynamic pedal is the fact that they use a special circuit that ramps up the voltage to more than 3 to 4 times the amount of your typical drive pedals. However, they don’t use this added gain to squeeze more overdrive or distortion out of the pedal, but to dramatically increase the headroom and dynamics.

If like Paul Gilbert, you spend most of your life playing guitar, you'll want reassurance that if your creative juices should get interrupted, it's not going to be because of your pedals. MojoMojo Paul Gilbert Edition is constructed from high-quality components not only to give you extraordinary overdrive tones, but also to ensure you'll keep on rocking for years and years.

To power your new MojoMojo Paul Gilbert Edition, you can use a 9V battery or the 9 VDC power input. If you choose a battery, you have easy one-screw battery-compartment access. If you run out of power mid song, you need to be able to swap the battery before the guitar solo. So, you can open the pedal simply by using a coin (or a solid pick), ensuring that rock won't have to wait long for you.

[9 VDC at 100 mA] I have been using the full stand hi hat trigger for a while, and decided to upgrade to this pedal, with a mounted trigger....MUCH BETTER! You can place the padal where you want...adjust trigger position (I had an extra trigger) to where you want without moving pedal, unlike regular hi hat style trigger. I also find the trigger to be a bit more responsive to all foot actions, EXCEPT the hi hat splash is actually harder to trigger properly....Great product overall!

[Die-Cast Metal] ....and I found it, here, at a much better price than even ...! I usually thing if B&H for my photo needs, but when the cat peed on my Hi-Hat controller and shorted it out, I needed another one quick for an upcoming gig. Best price, ...

[1x 9 V] I purchase this pedal because I have an e-drum kit that consists of equipment from 3 different brands. I use V-Drum mesh pads with an Alesis DM10 brain, Pro Rack, and a Yamaha DTX550 module running to Hart cymbals. The response from the Yamaha HiHat trigger is better and SOUNDS better than the Alesis, so I needed the controler for the DTX550 to work properly.
