The Pro16 has been engineered with Active Frequency Hopping technology. A: 7 users max in one location with the UltraLITE system. 6 wireless, with one additional wired to the HUB. Not expandable currently.

A: The Eartec UL4S UltraLite system operates in the 1920 to 1930 MHz range. 900MHz, 1800MHz and 1900MHz frequencies are not used in the US with the exception of 1 band using 1900MHz. Most cell phones in the US operate in the 800MHZ frequency range. So the risk of any problems with cell phones is pretty much slim to none. Not to mention the protocols are different between cell phones and professional duplex intercom and IFB systems.

A: You can have up to 7 but you need the additional hub for this system. Search for the other Eartec products and find the one for 5, 6, or 7.
