A: The boom arm on the Auray MS-5230T is removable.

[Plastic] These clips are great to keep my studio nice and tidy. I'm currently using them on a c-stand shaft where they fit perfectly and help guide the cables so there's less entanglement and mess. [5 x 3.5 x 1.85"] I'm a filmmaker but I'm using a DJ speaker stand to also serve as a lightstand or anything else besides holding a speaker, which I needed other adapters from Auray in case you are interested. I'm using an Auray SSA-38 Speaker Stand Adapter Sleeve with 3/8-16 Threaded Post. And for cable management, I'm using the Auray SSCG-2 Cable Guide Clip, the item in review. For less than $4 , it comes with TWO pieces in the package. You can also use them with other stands, but they are specifically made for a speaker stand, which in that case, it fits like a glove. It also accommodates various cables. Lots of space. Cable management is always a good practice for safety and neatness. Very happy with this item. [Plastic] Great product. Two separate sleeves for different stands so they are not clinging together and getting banged up. Also wonderful pocket to store microphone clips and cords and other things you may need for a gig. 5
