The Sensei PRO 49-52mm Brass Step-Up Ringpermits the use of 52mm threaded filters on lenses with 49mm filter threads. It features brass construction and is coated with a matte black finish to minimize reflections. Brass offers enhanced durability and resistance to warping over conventional aluminum rings and is also less prone to jamming or binding to additional step-up rings, filters, or lenses. This step-up ring has large side knurlings to provide a more textured grip when mounting or removing it from a lens.

[0.135 lb] It works really well. I would be cautious on your lens that you use because these can be difficult to get off on then framed lenses. 5

[0.135 lb] I bought this brass ring as a replacement for an aluminum one, which was constantly getting stuck onto various filters. Decoupling the filters and the ring was a major hassle, even with lens wrenches. While the brass seemed a bit expensive, it turned out to be well worth it to me. It goes on and comes off easily. I'd buy it again. 5

[49 mm to 52 mm] I had bought a Sensei pro step up ring before for my 100-400 lens. These new step up rings are very similar and are good quality like the other ones. The brass construction helps against accidental stuck rings. They fit into my circular polarizer well and is easy to use. One tip when using step up rings is that you want to buy the normal UV filter and not a nano or slim version as there are not enough threads in the slim UV filters. 5

[49 mm to 52 mm] I ordered this for our PhD research student. So far they seem to be satisfied with the product. This Step-up ring is sold by other sites for less money, but we purchased it through B&H for their history of quality products, fast turn around and excellent support. 5

[49 mm to 52 mm] The brass step up rings are much easier to work with than the cheaper versions. If you're swapping filters more than one a month, brass is worth it. 5

[49 mm to 52 mm] Solid brass, buttery smooth threads, does what it's supposed to. Same quality as the PolarPro VND. Minimal packaging. 5
