A: This is only compatible as an extension for standard Manfrotto autopoles: BH# MA032 and MA43237.

Q: 2. It says 032b for the auto pole does it come with only one auto pole that seems odd

A: The Manfrotto Complete AutoPole Expan Kit - Black BH #MA2960B comes with two poles.

Q: 3. What is the dimension of the autopilot? I notice the mini-pole is 28 mm wide.

A: The base plates are 3.5 inches in diameter. The lower portion of the pole itself is about 6 inches in circumference.

Q: 4. Has anyone used this with a drop ceiling?

A: This System needs a Solid Ceiling, & will not be compatible with a Drop Ceiling.

Q: 5. When it says load capacity, is that per roll or them all? ie it says 22lb, where the roll is 16lb, but it holds 3 rolls of paper.

A: The load capacity is per auto pole. So for two as in the kit it can support up to 44 lbs.A roll of Seamless 107 x 36' weighs 14 lbs. (6.3kg)

Q: 6. can an impact autopole work as well?

A: Yes this base is also compatible with Impact Varipoles.

Q: 7. Can I use them with Savage Paper Backgrounds 107 x12yd? What other accessories do I need?

A: You can but you will need a bogen crossbar and 2 Bogen super clamps

Q: 8. Is this pole compatible with the manfrotto chrome stand on wheels?

A: These items are not compatible.

Q: 9. Is there a certain arrangement for heavy sound blankets? Can a pair of these can withstand such a weight?

A: Yes. Autopole have a payload support of over 50lbs.

A: The Manfrotto Fabric Grid for Ezybox II Square Softbox (Medium), MFR # LL LS2951, is designed for use with the Manfrotto Ezybox II Square, Medium (23.75 x 23.75"), B&H # MAEZB2SM • MFR # LL LS2711P. It is not designed for direct usage with the Manfrotto 034 Single Extension for Autopole (Silver, 4.9').

[33.8" (86cm)] I use autopole to hold my background system and some flash heads. Sometimes some accessories (fan, props etc.) I own three of them. 5

[Yes- 22mm ] I had a catalog in a studio with 20 foot ceilings and needed to make numerous background changes. These supported my Autopole 2's extremely well and were quite sturdy with the backgrounds at about 14 feet. I highly recommend them to anyone using the Autopole system. 5

[33.8" (86cm)] This base allows for the autopole to be used standalone in a room without the need to come in contact with the ceiling. This is helpful when you need to lower the pole to access backdrop cross poles or lights. It is lightweight and collapses completely against the autopole for transport without needing to remove it from the autopole. 5

[33.8" (86cm)] I was worried when I opened the box, as this base felt a little lightweight. once you attach it to a pole, though, the unit seems as strong as using the spring mount against a ceiling. I'll now keep it with me all the time for those occasions where the ceiling is too high or fragile for a regular pole mount. I am actually using this with a Matthews Matthpole, thanks to the B&H folks who assured me that it would work. Just pop out the bottom rubber foot and you're all set. 5
