To get it to work, I had to use the shock mount that came with the TLM 103, but flip it upside down. Fortunately, the mic can be threaded into the shock mount this way. Unfortunately, the ISO-Armor-2 has to sit on top of the shock mount, reducing the shock-absorbing effectiveness. The mic and ISO-Armor-2 are not able to float the way the shock mount is intended. The added weight of the ISO-Armor-2 would probably prevent this anyway. It's too bad I can't include a picture, because it'd be much easier to show. Just to be clear, the ISO-Armor-2 isn't a shock mount and doesn't provide any connection to a mic stand.

Based on this information, if you are using the PL2T or a similar boom arm that is capable of supporting the weight, it should work. Regardless, it is still a substantial amount of weight for a boom arm, so I would recommend being very careful when moving the arm with the mic and isolation mount attached and avoid placing it where it may be accidentally bumped.
