The strobe light is drone agnostic, fitting to the top of the body with the included 3M Velcro pads or around one of the drone arms with the included rubber bands. Once in place, you can use two flashing modes (slow and strobe) with three colors (red, green, and white) to help you and bystanders spot your drone in the darkness. Thanks to the light's brightness and transparent shell, you can see it from up to 1.9 miles away. On a full charge, the light will work for up to eight hours, which is more than enough for a full night of filming.

A: We do not recommend placing the Lume Cube STROBE Anti-Collision Light for Drones at the bottom of the aircraft as this will block ventilation and sensors located at the bottom of the drone. For the best flight, we recommend placing your anti-collision light on top of your drone.

Adding a camera-like grip completely transforms the ergonomics, making the flat phone conform to the motor-memory expectations of your hands. It just feels more natural. The remote-triggering capability and on-grip light are well implemented and a welcome bonus. [Black] I usually use a longer arm of the same design, and really like it. This arm provides utility in some diving situations because of it's shorter length. There are several nearly, if not exactly, identical arms out there, and this one is less costly, so I rate it even higher. This is not the same as some arms called loc-line arms, and the loc-line arms are not as strong as this one. This arm is easy to use with DIY trays. 5
