The backbone of any synth sound is a solid oscillator, and the Behringer Oscillator Module 1004 is a great place to start constructing unique tones. Based on the legendary 2500 and featuring discrete dual-core transistor circuitry to add vintage character, it comes equipped with coarse and fine frequency controls, a frequency range switch, an on/off switch, a pulse-width control, and 3 modulation attenuators. What's more, each of the 5 different waveform options features a 3-position toggle switch which can be set to inverted/off/non-inverted. All the enabled waveforms are then mixed together to create complex waveform shapes and amazing sounds.

The 1004 gives you comprehensive connectivity including a 1 V/octave keyboard input and two VCO modulation inputs. It also has a pulse-width modulation input and two parallel oscillator outputs to send signal to other modules.

Installing the Oscillator Module 1004 into a standard Eurorack case is easy. Just connect the power cable to the power supply and screw in the module using the included screws. Mix the 1004 with other synth, filter, and processing modules for a truly unique setup.

A: According to Panasonic Support, the module attaches to the camera and is 1 per camera. Additionally, plugging the AW-RM50 into a laptop will not do anything. All it does (when connected to an AG-CX350) is add wireless connectivity if the laptop itself can connect to a network wirelessly. The camera isn't controllable from a computer.

Q: 10. I really like the concept behind this tripod, It will fit in my bag and is a half pound lighter than the 2004. I have two questions 1) I assume I can replace the ballhead (I already have a good Markins one). It doesn't seem they sell them separtely (legs from head). 2) Do you think the setup can stably handle a 150-450mm lens (4.4lbs/2 kg) lens on a smallish SLR body?

[0.5 lb] Great keyboard, works as intended - and a good amount of options under the hood. Will your keyboard be a bit messier looking? Sure..but a really cool way to customize exactly what you want your perfect 4-voice poly/paraphonic instrument to do. And yes you can go beyond 4 voices using its midi outputs. All in all a pretty cool way to incorporate a case and keyboard in one. 5

[0.5 lb] Excellent model. To me the best in class of the Sirui line putting it just above the other travel models in weight, but with the added benefit of sturdiness, without too much penalty. Love the flip leg locks, and that sold me, plus decent height, short shaft, adjustable leg angles etc. Only minor gripe, which is common with all the Sirui short shaft accessories, is that you lose the bag handle underneath when attached. However, for about 70grams penalty, I added a screw adaptor to the protruding thread, and attached a lightwieght carabena hook/latch. Problem solved. I reckon you could almost replace heavier models in the field, for long exposure, astro work, espcially if you attach a bag to the hook. Mine comes in at just over 1.6kg with the short shaft, Manfrotto head (320g) and custom bag hook on the short shaft thread. For only a few grams more you could leave the longer centre column attached, and have more height, but you'd lose the ability to go super flat, however, the long shaft would give adequate low angles for most shots. I just like a bit less weight, plus the ability to go lower, and I don't mind using my flip out screen on the LCD. It's high enough for me with the short shaft. Long shaft pretty much gives me eye height. Looks to me like it will stand up to fairly decent use. 5

[0.5 lb] I bought this tripod for use in tropical rain forests for supporting a Nikon 82mm spotting scope. It's lightweight and easy to set up. It folds down small enough to fit in a mini daypack along with the scope. The tab locks for the leg segments make setting it up a breeze. 5

[0.5 lb] remember to split your eurorack modules even on the buss power, you have second row and you can put your power hungry modules in that row, also you get about 70mm depth on the bottom row as there is no obstruction from the bus board, use modular grid to sort out the arrangement, I got this in 2 days from B&H, incredible timing.
