The 24767 Cinema Contour Fixed Frame Screen by Da-Lite has a 72.5 x 116.0" viewing area, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 137" diagonal.

The HD Progressive 1.3 surface has a gain of 1.3, 150° viewing angle, and is ideal for applications where projector brightness and screen size require an increase in gain. The pure white HD Progressive surface offers true color reproduction, and allows for more flexibility with ambient light conditions. This seamless surface also allows for easy viewing of detail in video as well as charts and graphs in a corporate setting. HD Progressive 1.3 can be cleaned with mild soap and water, and is flame-retardant and mildew-resistant. This surface has also achieved GREENGUARD GOLD Certification. Black backing on the back of the viewing surface prevents light bleed-through.

The aluminum frame is 3” wide by 1.63” and is covered with black Pro-Trim fabric, which absorbs excess light around the viewing area. The frame is slip-jointed at corners and joints. The screen also includes standard wall-mounting brackets.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is there vignetting on Super35 sensors because of the 30mm image circle?

A: Vignetting is evident when the image circle (mm) is less than a camera sensor's diagonal (mm). The Angenieux EZ-1 will not vignette on a Super35 sensor because its image circle is larger than all Super35mm sensor cameras.

Q: 2. What is the difference between S35 rear element group and S35, FF element group ?

A: S35: Super 35mm FF: Full Frame VV: Vista Vision

Q: 3. Is changing the rear lens element group an easy end user procedure like shiming a PL adapter? Or does it require special tools

A: Swapping the rear element on the Angenieux EZ-2 15 to 40mm Cinema Lens Pack (Super35 and Full-Frame) is an easy process. Please see this link for a tutorial: https://bhpho.to/44tbD8o.

Q: 4. Does it noticeably breathe when shifting focus?

A: The breathing on this lens should be minimal.

Q: 5. Does this lens have filter threads, and if so what size?

A: The Angenieux EZ-1 30 to 90mm Cinema Lens Pack (Super35 and Full-Frame) has a 114mm front diameter but no filter threads, as it is meant to be used with a 114mm Matte-Box.

Q: 6. So if the source material is stereo (or more channels) what comes out? Somthing summed, or only one channel? And is this behavior the same on all platforms?

A: It will sum a stereo output to mono

Q: 7. How is this different than the APCRBC115? Is this compatible with the SMX1500RM2U and its expansion modules?

A: The manufacturer would create different replacement batteries for different products. APC only refers to #115 as the only compatible option to SMX1500RM2U.

Q: 8. Is the Angenieux 30-90mm going to come out in EF mount?

A: At this time the lens is available in PL only. You can purchase an EF adapter if you wish. Angenieux EF-Mount for EZ-1 and EZ-2 Zooms B&H # ANEZEFMOUNT.

Q: 9. What focal length does the EZ-1 crop to due to FF read element if its 15-40mm?

A: The Angenieux EZ-2 15 to 40mm Cinema Lens Pack (Super35 and Full-Frame) will expand to cover a full frame sensor, making it function as a 22-60mm lens, when used with the full frame adapter.

Q: 10. Will this work with the Leica Q2?

A: The Q2 has its own screen protector # 24017 or B&H's code LEDPFM10 which is the same protector that is used on the M10. The Q screen protector may work but the fit may not be perfect.

[137" (348 cm)] Assembly for very straight forward. Looks great on the wall. Really like the velour wrap around the frame. It does a very good job of rejecting light back onto the screen. Because of the size, (110 inch) I decided to put up a folding screen to cover it when not in use.

[49 lb] Screen is being used in a 40 x 40 foot room with a 7.2 theater system. The projection screen is over the stage and is long enough to extend down and up out of the way when not in use. If the light were not in the way, I could have moved the screen even higher.

[49 lb] Have this 8' 16x9 installed in the front of the church sanctuary replacing an 8' 4x3 with the standard wide bezel. The narrow 1/4 bezel looks great. Quality and attention to detail in this screen is impressive. It was simple to assemble and install.

[49 lb (22 kg)] This is my fourth ALR (ambient light reflecting) screen.

The first thing to know is, there are no miracle screens. There are good ALR screens, but none perform miracles. Even the best don't show a great picture in a really bright room. The second thing to know is, don't necessarily believe the promotional pictures and videos from manufacturers that show amazing screen performance. They have positioned the screens, projectors and cameras to show the screens at their very best. You are unlikely to duplicate this in a real world situation.

Almost all ALR screens have, to one extent or another, a major problem – screen artifacts. Shimmering, hot spots, sparkles, grainy appearance and so on. In order to eliminate this problem I have owned four different screens. My newest one, which wasn't available when I first started my quest for better picture quality, the Da-Lite Parallax, has none of these problems. Zero!

The Parallax probably doesn't have quite as good of ambient light rejection properties as some of the other screens, but with some light control and careful placement of light sources, you can still have light in the room and a great picture.

A great artifact free picture is really important now that we have 4K material to watch.

[49 lb (22 kg)] After correspondence with B&H on product lines and availability , I selected the cinema contour to marry up with the projector specifications that were needed. It also worked well with the acoustic demands of the in wall speakers hidden behind it . The result was spot on. Excellent price coupled with exceptional performance. B&H got the job done. Pro service for pro contractors.
