The 24769 Cinema Contour Fixed Frame Screen by Da-Lite has a 100 x 160" viewing area, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 189" diagonal.

The HD Progressive 1.3 surface has a gain of 1.3, 150° viewing angle, and is ideal for applications where projector brightness and screen size require an increase in gain. The pure white HD Progressive surface offers true color reproduction, and allows for more flexibility with ambient light conditions. This seamless surface also allows for easy viewing of detail in video as well as charts and graphs in a corporate setting. HD Progressive 1.3 can be cleaned with mild soap and water, and is flame-retardant and mildew-resistant. This surface has also achieved GREENGUARD GOLD Certification. Black backing on the back of the viewing surface prevents light bleed-through.

A: Angenieux has been making lenses since 1935 and their lenses are world class outstanding in build and image quality. They are in the same league as Cooke, Zeiss, Panavision, et all. I would say that the Angenieux would be of the same quality as the Cookes over all but the question comes down to what look your production needs. The Cooke look is the beloved one of warmth and easy focus roll-off. It is very complementary for faces. Angenieux is more neutral in color and again an easy focus roll-off. Then there is the big consideration that primes look different than zooms. In the end, while the differences are only apparent to the trained eye, these considerations are what make up the totality of the movie experience. I would say the decision comes down not to whether one lens is good or bad but which lens is right.

Q: 6. Will this work with the metabones speed booster?

A: We usually do not recommend using this lens with a speed booster as it is already designed to compensate for the crop factor change between Super 35mm and Full Frame. The lens can be configured as a 30mm-90mm Super 35mm lens or a 45mm-135mm Full Frame lens which will result in the same field of view for both configurations. (The field of view in Full Frame mode is 45.6°-15.9° and the filed of view in Super 35mm is 43.6-15.2°) Therefore it is more effective to use the lens in super 35mm mode then have it in Full Frame and use a Speed Booster if you plan on using it with Super35mm cameras.
