[Black] It's a tight fit on my 9inch 15mm rods, between the camera cage and the battery plate, but this just barely pulls it off, whereas the traditional rod block wouldn't fit. I mount a kondor blue t5 ssd holder onto the cold shoe, to fit between the rear battery plate and the camera + cage in front. Connect via angelbird 50cm/19.6 usbc cable. If you're using 12 rods, there's other options, but this helps keep my rig small for shooting in tight spaces. Glorious. 5

[Aluminum] The proprietary cold shoe from Zacudo is needed to connect the Zacudo Micro Boom and it works like a charm. Fits snug and easily tightens to provide support for the telescoping arm. I highly recommend this item and B&H for the price and fast delivery. 5
