[2x Cold Shoe] I will never used the plastic smartphone mounts again. Many of them broke on me. Always go aluminum, especially when you are always using it. You don't have to worry about taking it easy on it the mount when it's aluminum. 5

[2x Cold Shoe] I originally gave the pixie clamp a try from Manfrotto, but found it did not grip my device tightly enough. The phone would wiggle inside of it. This SHAPE clamp is the perfect solution. Manually tighten the screw as strongly as needed. It's also wide enough to add enough surface area against the phone to prevent it from wiggling.
