Q: 1. Is this compatible with Canon R5 Mark ii?

A: Unfortunately, the Manfrotto Professional Lithium-Ion Battery for Select Canon Cameras (7.2V, 2400mAh) is not compatible with the Canon R5 Mark II.

Q: 2. The z8 uses this kind of battery. Why is it not on the compatibility list?

A: Unfortunately, the Manfrotto Professional Lithium-Ion Battery for Select Nikon Cameras (7V, 2400mAh) is not compatible with the Nikon Z8.

Q: 3. 500 cycles seems low for modern Li batteries. Surely my Nikon OEMs have gone through a lot more cycles and are OK. Am I wrong?

A: You are not wrong. I definitely recommend getting the original Nikon battery whenever possible.

Q: 4. The Nikon Z8 is not listed -- but it uses a Nikon EN-EL15c battery as well. Can this be used in the Z8?

A: As an owner of a Nikon ZF, I just received the battery and I can say that this battery is compatible with ZF (meaning it works just fine electronically), and I assume it works with the Z8 too. However, there is some tolerance issue (perhaps due to increased capacity? Or that "silicon infused material" it uses) this makes it slightly thicker by a fraction of a millimeter from Nikon's battery, which doesn't allow it to pop out smoothly. I assume that the mentioned models have a slightly larger opening. Pulling the latch on the ZF, the battery barely pops out due to friction and I need to stick a pen inside and pull it out. It works but with a caveat. Perhaps it'll wear out over time and become smoother.

Q: 5. The z8 is not listed as compatible Is it?

A: Unfortunately, the Manfrotto Professional Lithium-Ion Battery for Select Nikon Cameras (7V, 2400mAh) is not compatible with the Nikon Z8.

Q: 6. Why is the Z8 not included in the compatibility list?

A: Unfortunately, the Manfrotto Professional Lithium-Ion Battery for Select Nikon Cameras (7V, 2400mAh) is not compatible with the Nikon Z8.

Q: 7. can this battery be calibrated? (the Nikon battery has a cpu that allows calibration. Does this unit have a cpu?

A: The answer to your question is no this battery cannot be calibrated I called Watson and they supplied with this answer. When I bought this battery it was only for a backup I don't use it full time, every so often I will recharge it. It fills the need for what I needed and the price was right.

Q: 8. Is the Watson EN-EL4a compatible with the Nikon D2X? Thank you!

A: No it is not compatible.

Q: 9. From the photographs, I assume this battery cannot be recharged via a USB C power source. Right?

A: The Manfrotto Professional Lithium-Ion Battery for Select Nikon Cameras (7V, 2400mAh) is charged using the same methods as your Nikon EN-EL15c is charged. Neither the Manfrotto nor the Nikon batteries have a USB connection.

Q: 10. Is it compatible either the z8? It is not listed

A: Unfortunately, the Manfrotto Professional Lithium-Ion Battery for Select Nikon Cameras (7V, 2400mAh) is not compatible with the Nikon Z8.

[7.2 VDC] Shot for over two hours with this battery. All were with the electronic silent shutter. Battery level had dropped to 99%. Amazing and about 1/2 of what OM systems wants for theirs.

[0.26 lb] This is proving to be a great back up battery using it in my battery grip shooting with a Nikon D300S. The battery is proving to hold a charge for more than 2,000 photos. This is great when you are out for a full days hike or excursion the battery will last all day.

[Lithium-Ion] I got my Sony A7 III from B&H on April 11, 2018, the day after it was first released to the public. I also bought the Power 2000 battery so that I would have 2 camera batteries. NOTE: I typically shoot 3,200 RAW images per battery charge (I prefer the viewfinder and rarely use the back screen which saves energy).

After a year, I find no discernible performance difference between the Sony OEM battery and the Power2000.

Oddly, when I updated to the latest A7 III firmware version, the camera display shows the Power2000 charge level at startup, then it disappears after a few seconds. There is also a warning about using 3rd party batteries. IMHO, this is just a scare tactic. This battery is a solid performer.

[0.26 lb] I don't have long term experience with this battery and the Sony unit last a long time so for me a second battery remains mostly in reserve so a less expensive one works for me.

[7.2 VDC] I use this battery as a back-up to my Nikon battery EN-EL4a rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery Pack. I always use my original Nikon battery but if I am out in the field and my Nikon battery goes down after many shots, I then switch to the the Watson EN-EL4A Lithium-Ion Battery Pack as my back-up until I can re-charge the Nikon battery again at home. I find it's more economical using it that way since there is such a big price difference between the Nikon Battery and the Watson Battery. However the Watson battery is a very good battery and reliable in every way.
