UltraLITE Pro16 all-in-one wireless headsets can link up to 16 users in full duplex without a base station or hub. Designed with a lightning-fast microprocessor that provides two channels of simultaneous hands-free communication, the Pro16 allows separate groups to speak privately. Connect your entire crew in a full-duplex conference with the simple touch of a button. The Pro16 talking pattern is easily modified in the field or expanded to accommodate your changing needs.

The Pro16 has been engineered with Active Frequency Hopping technology. This specialty wireless technique allows the headsets to monitor the surrounding environment and automatically switch channels whenever necessary to easily avoid interference. The operating range has been increased three-fold to over a 1/2 mile line of sight.

The UltraLITE headsets have the transceiver built right inside the earcup, eliminating headset wires and belt-worn radios. They provide two-way voice communication and the microphone arm can swivel 270°, allowing you to wear the mic on the left or right side. Raising the mic boom into the up position automatically mutes the microphone.

A fortified mic assembly, featuring internal metal construction and stainless attachment hardware is now standard. The new deluxe earpad is extra wide, soft, and weather resistant. New, large-capacity lithium-ion polymer batteries provide an impressive run time of up to 10 hours.

A: An "EU" version of the Eartec UL5S 5-Person Full-Duplex Wireless Intercom with 5 UltraLITE Single-Ear Headsets is recommend for use in Taiwan as opposed to the "US" version. [950 mAh] I wasn’t expecting from a system at this price. I usually use a ClearComm system costing $12K. I even asked B&H if the product could be returned if not satisfied. I had 30-days. I received the 5-set Comm System 3-days prior to a 4 Cam shoot in a theater setting. I recorded for 3-days in a very loud environment with all actors and orchestra on wireless com’s. The Eartec. System worked flawlessly. Communication was crystal clear with plenty of volume. Battery life easily covered a Three hour show and set up. Headsets are comfortable. Build is very plastic like so not sure about durability. But I am definitely keeping this set. A great buy so far and at a fraction of the cost of a Telex/Clearcom system. I purchased the single ear configuration. During louder parts of the musical room noise made it difficult to hear. However, an earplug in the left ear solved that issue immediately. I would recommend this product to any production team.

[3 Hours] We started using the Eartec last week and found them to be very nice. We put our wired headsets away after 30 years of use. they still work and have a bit of static. The headsets are a little tight to wear, but I feel after a little usage they will be Ok. We are currently only using the first 3 headsets on Channel one and have not needed to use Channel 2 until we have a large performance in Church. One cameraman said he heard it beep a couple of times but had no other issues. Not sure if the battery was weakening or if it lost communication, will check it our next week. So far so good.

[1.152 Mb/s] Much much better than walkie talkies....I used it this weekend for a RC race to communicate with my pitman.....with all those high pitched nitro engines, it sounded as if he was right next to me.

[3 Hours] They call these headsets marriage savers for a reason. They have made the docking of our 40' boat a breeze(even in tight spots) no more screaming directions . We can quietly and calmly communicate while docking our boat.
Definitely money well spent. I tried for months to buy these used but nobody is selling them for less than new. That's because they're awesome and once you use them you'll never want to be without them.

[Headband] There is no other headset system that comes in this price range and is that good at what it does!! Absolutely important for all kinds of filming! I cant belive I have been flying Drones professionaly and had been working without these!

[Mono] Coming from the broadcast world, doing small to medium events. Really wanted to get away from wires and belt packs. These were the only cost-effective realistic solution. They worked great. We used them day in and day out. The batteries charge fast. The range was good. If you get enough people and enough staging in the way, of course you're going to lose reception over a couple hundred feet and how many walls. But I never felt like they were oversold in terms of range. I love these things, they made our work lives easier and better every day.

[12] These are great coms on a budget. I had an issue with one of them pairing out of the box. The Eartec customer service number is right on the soft carrying case, they walked me through the programming process in a couple minutes to get all four up and running. I will definitely add another headset and down the road upgrade to the hub when I need it.

[12] Perfect for any department on set. Pairs when turned on. Good sound quality, lightweight. Better than having a heavy walkie drag down your pants

[10 Hours] We've only had this system for a few weeks at our church, but it has made a huge positive impact for our production team. We have tried using walkie-talkie solutions, but they didn't come close to what we needed. It was worth the price to be able to have everyone on the same page throughout auditorium and backstage areas. We have a large space with concrete walls that aren't always the easiest for things like Wifi and cellphone signal, but these have no problem picking up.

[10 Hours] I read multiple reviews of the Eartec UltraLITE Headsets prior to purchasing.

My first impression after unboxing was that these feel more like a toy than a production environment tool. The $22 battery replacement cost also is a bit of a red flag. It's a proprietary battery so third party batteries aren't an option.

In the past I've had to rely on hand signals or my production team members actually paying attention to move from live interviews to prerecorded scenes during livestreams. Not anymore.

These simply work, despite their amateur appearance. Since they operate on the 1.9 GHz spectrum, I've never experienced dropouts or interference when in use.

You can't toss them around like regular headphones. They not as well built as headphones. Keep them in the protective case when not in use and remove the batteries as recommended when not in use.

I'm sure other companies make a better built headset, but at a much higher cost.

If you treat them with care and follow the recommendations, these should provide you with several years of worry-free operation.
