Q: 3. Freesync and G-Sync compatibility??

Q: 4. Why wouldn't this be a great photo editing display if AdobeRGB support is 99% ?

A: It's a bit large for working up close. However color accuracy is great on the Gigabyte AORUS FV43U 43" 16:9 4K Quantum Dot 144 Hz HDR VA Gaming Monitor. It contains 97% DCI-P3,150% sRGB, and 99% Adobe RGB. However it only contains 8-Bit+FRC (1.07 Billion Colors) so it's not a true 10 bit panel. If using for print work I would ensure that the proper gamut's are included for your work. Also this is a VA panel viewing angles can affect visibility unless seated directly in front of the panel.

[5x RGB] I installed an i5 cpu, M.2 drive and 32G of memory on this Gigabyte motherboard along with Windows 11 and it is very quick and running cool with a DeepCool LS520 WH.

[2x 4-Pin Pump] This is my first AMD build. I built it before I heard about how ASUS was treating customers with the GC and they generally don't care about their customers. The MB does what it should do. Next time I building im going with a company that does care

[4x SATA III] I've built a lot of computers over the last 30+ years, starting with motherboards that used jumper settings. Builds keep getting easier and this one was the easiest of all.

Much of the basic tuning and setup with this MB is automatic. With only the XMP tuning turned on, my I9-14900 processor, with a claimed boost of up to 6mhz, was a solid 5.5mhz+ under 100% load. Improving the case cooling a bit may help, but the performance is already way beyond my needs and expectations.

There were only two issues encountered with the build. First was my using a several generations old GPU (980ti) which resulted in no video (am on a waiting list for a current version). Resurrected my old system, found the fix (flashed the GPU's BIOS), and was up and running on the new build in short order.

The other problem was a bug in the onboard flash program. Using the GUI buttons to progress through the flash process resulted in an error message. Found a several years old forum response about the same issue. The fix was to double click on the BIOS file name instead of using the GUI buttons. You'd think that a bug like that would have been fixed or at least the instructions would now say to double click the file name. But, no... let the peons suffer.

But I digress. I like the motherboard. Truly, the slickest thing is how M.2 SSD's are installed. Flip a tiny rotary lever and the included heat sink comes off. Insert the SSD stick, push it down, flip another rotary lever and the SSD stick clicks into place. The heat sink goes back on the same way. Too slick.

If I have a grip it's that adding M.2 SSDs after the install requires pulling the video card. Yeah, I know, waaaahhhh. :-)

Good product. Maxed out the heat during the burn-in and had zero crashes. I really do think I'm going to like this build!

Highly recommended!

[4x SATA III] I had some early issues with the LAN port, but Gigabyte's support via email helped by recommending clearing the CMOS. It's been a great motherboard with so many great features, lots of internal and external USB ports, two PCIe 5.0 SSD slots and two PCIe 4.0 SSD slots, room for 128GB of RAM, plenty of SATA ports, 2.5Gb Intel LAN and WiFi 7.

[4x 288-Pin] This is a great option for anyone looking to start building or upgrade to AM5.

For it's price point, it features a lot of things that can make your build a fantastic one.

It has really good support for fast DRAM frequency. It has 2 ARGB headers so if you daisy chain all your fans, you don't have to worry about being short on headers to control the RGB. Speaking of which, being an MSI board, MSI Mystic Light is really easy to use.

Upon booting for the first time, you don't have to go on MSI's support website to download the necessary drivers (maybe I'm an old head, but that's how I always did it) as MSI will prompt you to download when you boot. The board itself doesn't look bad either.

My build turned out perfect and way better than my previous AM4 build. For less than $120, I would give it a 5/5 stars for its price point.

[4x 288-Pin] One of the only AM5 B650M boards that has both optical and line outs. Has plenty of other I/O as well. Shipped version was 1.2, not the latest 1.3. BIOS as shipped was FB. Installed easily into Thermaltake Tower T200 case. My first gigabyte board in years, been ASUS for past 10y. The gigabyte BIOS was easy to navigate and understand. Updated to latest BIOS, changed to EXPO settings on my RAM, everything just works.
