A: When using a CD player, tuner or other auxiliary device for background music, connect the line-out connectors of the music source to the RCA line inputs of the unit. Microphone inputs 1 and 2 can be set for priority over the music by setting the dipswitches located on the rear of the unit. [Download] Replaced Optex 40 X pri with Bosch Blue Line detectors. Bosch is quite a bit more sensitive and gives better coverage. These are great atributes for a good alarm system. Did not use the tamper portion of the detector. I have a 4 wire lead to the detector. Red to plus, black to neg. and the two other leads to the n/c terminals. Polarity is of no concern as you connect the n/c wires. 5
