The PowerClaw latching system provides IP67-rated water and dust resistance.   A: We are still waiting for full details on this gimbal, including the price and accessories that will work with it. We imagine there will be an option that allows for an external monitor to be connected to the unit. Please keep an eye on this page for updates.

  A: We recommend going with the DJI RS2 if you are planning on putting the Blackmagic 6K with the DZO lens. This combination will hit the weight capacity of the Ronin-S.
  
  Q: 7. I'm mounting an a7Riii to the Ronin-S and using EasyRig Minimax. What is the recommended method of attaching the Minimax to the Gimbal?
  
  A: You will mount either the 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16" quick release ball stud provided in the kit under the DJI Ronin S handle and operate the DJI Ronin S inverted. The Minimax is the Easyrig Quick Release Camera Hook B&H # EAERIGEA033Q MFR # ERIG-EA033-Q is the crucial component between the Minimax and Ronin S.

  Q: 9. Does anyone know if the Ronins follow focus and start/stop button will work on a Panasonic LUMIX FZ2500?
  
  A: The Lumix FZ2500 is not on DJI's list of compatible cameras for those specific functions with the Ronin--S. However you will be able to balance and shoot with that camera on this gimbal.
  
  Q: 10. Which controls (start/stop recording, follow focus etc.) would be available in a RoninS/BMPCC 4K/PanaLeica 12-60mm combination?
  
  A: Currently no internal compatibility with the BMPCC 4K have been developed, though we are currently working on expanding the compatibility list to include as many cameras as possible.

[Latch] We have several Nanuk cases; in fact, we use three Nanuk 909 Hard Utility Case with Foam Insert cases. As our needs have changed, we've reconfigured two of the cases. + Solidly built; wear well + Securely latch + Well sealed -- we don't take them underwater so we can't confirm they're waterproof -- but, they've kept contents dry walking through heavy rainstorms. + Good sized, rugged handle. + Performance on par with P and other more expensive case brands. - (None that we can think of!) 5

[Handle] I got this case to transport and store my Zoom H5, which it does well. I'm very pleased with this case and it's construction. The locking latches are extremely secure, so no worries there. Great grip on the Handle. The foam is decently good, but there are custom inserts you can craft and order from a third party. If/when this case encounters extreme conditions, I'll update this review to reflect the outcome. 5

[Handle] I bought the Nanuk 909 utility case to carry and protect an Atomos CASE video switching hub. The CASE comes with a foam insert in a cardboard box, and fits the Nanuk 909 almost perfectly, with room for other cables and power supply. 5
