The datAshur PRO+C features a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 interface along with a USB-A adapter for wide device compatibility. Quickly transfer confidential files, media, or data with read and write speeds up to 310 MB/s and 246 MB/s, respectively.

The datAshur PRO+C employs FIPS PUB 197 validated AES-XTS 256-bit encryption for complete data security within corporate and government organizations. Additionally, a layer of epoxy resin covers all internal components to ensure tampering results in permanent damage. It also features a tamper-evident aluminum chassis so users can spot if it's been pried open.

With PIN authentication, Admins provide users with a unique 8-to-15-digit PIN that must be entered via the built-in keypad before connecting it to any USB compatible device. Its wear-resistant keyboard is coated in a layer of polymer to protect keys and hide typical usage. For added protection, this drive automatically locks when disconnected from a host device or when power to is lost to the USB port.

Admins can allow the creation of a new PIN if a user forgets theirs. Without a PIN, its data cannot be accessed and after ten consecutive failed entries of the Admin PIN, all data on the drive is wiped and the drive must be reformatted again before use.

A protective aluminum sleeve provides an IP68 rated aluminum chassis with resistance to dust, dirt, and sand, as well as resistance to water submersion up to 1.5m for 30 minutes. Moreover, its shock-proof chassis withstands up to 2.7 tons of pressure and survives up to 4m drops to concrete surfaces.

This plug-and-play drive requires no additional software. Use it with virtually any device and operating system that can support USB, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, ChromeOS, Thin Clients, Zero Clients, Embedded Systems, Citrix, VMware, DVR's, Medical Equipment, Printers, Scanners, and CCTV. For corporate environments, it supports network whitelisting and VID/PID configurations for simplified integration with end-point management software.

  • LED Status Indicators
  • Built-in Keyring
  • Included Aluminum Protective Sleeve
  • Admin or User level read-only configurations
  • GDOR, CCPA, HIPPA compliant

A: It is possible that it would be compatible as Transcend publishes this statement, "You can easily transfer files among smartphones, computers, and even game consoles!" Which is then followed with this footnote: "Certain requirements must be met for external storage to save games and apps from game consoles. Please check compatibility before use." There is no additional documentation from Transcend on this. For most gaming consoles, they require formatting the storage device before it can be used with said gaming console - the formatting is done from the game console itself.

[Aluminum] I bought a pair of these to use as a password/credentials store, with one acting as a backup. This way I can keep my credentials for banking and so forth off my computer except when they are needed. Very happy with the ease of use. Nice product. Build quality seems to be fine.

[100 G / 3.0 ms] I've replaced three generations of USB stick that use client side software to unlock, each time because the software stopped working with OS updates. This drive's hardware decryption makes it much more universal and independent of the device I plug it into.

[0.145 lb] This encrypted flash drive allows you to create a password (7 - 16 digits) that needs to be entered to access it's contents. No device will recognize this flash drive unless the password is entered first.

Though there is a simple set of instructions included on how to set Admin and User passwords, I found them a little difficult to follow. The manufacturer, Apricorn, has a YouTube channel. I recommend beginning with the video: Aegis Secure Key 3.0 Tutorial 1: GETTING STARTED. Apricorn's YouTube channel also has easy to follow instructions on how to use the advanced security features of this drive. Once the drive is set up and you are able to open it, the Aegis Secure Key has a user manual in several different languages loaded on it.

The Aegis Secure Key drive has a metal body and an internal rechargeable battery. It comes formatted for use on PCs and Android smart televisions. It comes with a thick rubber case that the drive slides into.

I've only had mine for a two weeks. But haven't encountered any problems with it. I recommend the Apricorn Aegis Secure Key.
