A: This remote is listed as compatible on the RICOH website. Their product number is O-RC1. It is also listed as an accessory on B&H. It is the remote listed on the Spec heading on B&H listing for WG-5 GPS/I have this remote, & it works great with a Pentax K3, I'm pretty sure it will work with WG-5, based on RICOH's page and B&H Page. Sorry I cannot be more solid in my answer, but I have no experience with the WG-5.

[2x AAA] I had one of these several years ago for a Sony EX1R and really liked it. It went when I sold off the Sony. Now I needed one for my Canon XF405 mounted on my crane, so I went back to what I knew. It works vey well, and is of high build quality. 5

[Black] The clip on remotes are $100 less, with this you dont have to worry about a clip breaking. How it's setup on the pan handle makes it easy to use. Well worth the extra money if your just getting started. 5

[Black] Have used Manfrotto RC Pan Bar for over 5 years to control (2) Sony PXW-Z90 camcorders and (1) Sony PXW-Z150 camcorder. Don't forget to turn off the camcorder before plugging the remote control into camcorder ... or you'll ruin the camcorder audio circuitry. 5

[2x AAA] After consulting with B&H support to confirm the Pan Bar would work with my JVC GY-H500u video camera, I purchased the device and I'm extremely happy with it. I was ask to film live broadcast of high school basketball playoffs and the Manfrotto RC Pan Bar provided me the ability to pan, and zoom, the camera to catch all the action. In my case the Pan Bar plugged into the Remote Terminal on the camera and it works perfectly. The Pan Bar can control focus, zoom, iris, and has a zoom speed controller. 5
