[Plastic] I'm going to India in January and I'm so glad that I bought this. It feels like a quality product in every way ~ a solid, unshakeable, camera platform ~ great features and ideal for travel.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] Great tripod! You can feel the quality as you use it. I am an amateur photographer that photographs a lot of birds and am trying to do more videography. This tripod has been amazing for both so far. The head is easy to adjust and has been very useful for on the fly work.

[0.42 lb] I’ve owned many tripods since the early seventies, but nothing this spectacular! It shows you that these engineers are tuned in to their customers needs. So light and ergonomicly built that you want to use it all the time. Stronger than most enthusiasts will need and professionals will likely be satisfied when it comes down to on the go shoots. I love the quick release ball mount, but it takes some getting use to. Very portable and very durable. It should last me for years to come.

[0.42 lb] The Falcam TreeRoot Travel Tripod is very well made and useful for a travel tripod. It's made of carbon fiber and is light weight. For a travel tripod the TreeRoot Travel Tripod is sturdy. However, keep in mind it is a light weight travel tripod and I wouldn't leave it unattended. The legs have a twist lock and is very easy and fast to deploy and to fold down.
One reason I bought this tripod was the head that come with it is very well made. Your camera or lens foot will easily lock down on the head. The head comes with the F38 plate, but you can use your own Arca Swiss plate. I am using my Really Right Stuff L-plate and I had no problem using it. I also have on one of my cameras a Peak Design capture plate and that works with this head.
Another feature for why I chose this tripod is that the head can pan so that you can do panorama shots.
I am satisfied with the quality and features of the Falcam TreeRoot Travel Tripod.

[0.42 lb] It's smaller than I expected, but that was a good thing. I attached this to cam area strap that only screws it. Now I can quickly release me camera from the strap for free use and snap it back in when I need my hands.

[0.42 lb] Falcam Treeroot CF tripod is the most convenient, versatile, and user friendly tripod in the market as of late 2024. Starting with the new 320P ball head, which allows a wide range of arca type pates and L-brackets to securely click on to the head (the days of screwing in plates on ball heads are gone), to the innovative center column, which can be shortened to just 6 inches for low angle shots, all the way to 4-section twist lock legs that can be readily extended without risking them from ever falling off, this tripod is a design and engineering masterpiece. It deserves all the rave reviews on YT and internet. The tilt and pan mechanism of the ball head allows for practically any angle, making L-brackets redundant, if not obsolete (L-brackets with vertical arm cut out for articulated screens of Canon and Sony mirrorless cameras are not compatible with this ball head). Having used Manfrotto BeFree, Element Mii, and Sirui ST-125 tripods before, I can attest that Treeroot is the best tripod made yet, and the attention to small details and the needs of photographers, such as the spike feet and rubber shoes, additional attachment plates, padded carry case, to name a few are just unparalleled. At $499 listed price, it is not cheap; but I can’t complain about the price because I practically “stole” the tripod+ball head combo just for $319 during a recent B&H fall sale! And then, I traded in all my previous tripods for $250 to recoup much of this cost, thus making it my best $69 investment in a state-of-the-art CF travel tripod. This tripod is so easy to setup and versatile to use that I am confident that it will become the go to tripod of anyone who owns it. Look for a reasonable deal, and pounce as soon as you find one during the upcoming holiday shopping season!

[Plastic] The quality change from the Ulanzi Zero to this is incredible. The legs are very well built and sturdy for their size. The twist locks are right up there with 3LT's. The arca swiss locking mechanism is well built and the ball head has thrown everything including an RB67 at it but this brings me to the only place I see potential failure down the road; the locking latch on the ball head. There appears to be an adjustment point but you can't tighten too much without compromising the adjustment knob's performance. I've purchased the additional A130 threaded center column module in case of failure for throwing a traditional head on, hopefully won't ever need it.

There is no other travel tripod that gets this small and remains this sturdy. It has a price to match, but just pretend it's Peak Design ;)
