They did use to give these out whenever you got an Apple laptop, so I have a few around. I'm using most of them though. It would be nice if they made them braided like some of their newer cords. 5

I had a USB AC charger hanging around (the kind you can plug a USB cable into, like most phone chargers) and I use the cable with this. It works fine from my computer as well. [5 VDC] I'm still confused why there are different types of power adaptors regarding the workability of their amps of different sizes. I'd like to try them in different equipment of other makers, but am afraid of harming them. Still, this adaptor is well constructed and should last a long time. The only thing that concerns me is the strength of the cord going to the amp from the box. It's axactly like those for effect pedals. Otherwise, things look and work as expected. 5
