This adapter is equipped with a 1/4" TS female input connector and a 3-pin XLR male output connector, ideal for handling unbalanced audio signals. It's perfect for applications requiring a connector-type conversion, such as connecting the output of a synthesizer to the 3-pin XLR input of a recorder or mixing board.

The right-angle design lets you route cables away from walls and dividers, which will save space behind a mixer, recorder, or PA speakers.

Squeezing XLR cables between a mixer or recorder and a wall is a recipe for trouble with connections and signal flow. This adapter prevents strain at the cable's weakest point where the connector meets the cable, and it ensures that signals to and from mixers and recorders aren't interrupted.

The male XLR connector rotates 360° in the sleeve and can be set to four different positions, so you can set the XLR connector's directions at the angle you need for the easiest attachment.

This adapter is designed to protect your cables, so it's built to take some punishment. All-metal construction will withstand repeated use when you're setting up and breaking down recording or sound-reinforcement systems.

[0.135 lb] The XLRTWIST-360-FTS is extremely well built, nice and heavy. Anything Line or Mic signals. Also works with dynamic microphones.

I like the angled shape, which can help fitting behind a mixer when space is tight avoiding bending cables.

The audio is clean, no hiss, no hum.

You can also ROTATE the XLR 360 degrees to accommodate anything behind your crowded mixer. The BH product pictures may not explain clearly what they mean, so I attached a few pictures so you can see how. You simply unscrew a small screw and change the angle. There are 4 threads to choose.

Happy with this item.

[0.135 lb] I've used this little adaptor with my boom pole for sit down interviews and it works well! The difference that this angled XLR makes is subtle but, I do feel like it protects the the XLR cable and most of all saves space.

It's small and has an all metal build. I don't see myself adjusting the rotation of the adaptor anytime soon, but it's good to know that option is available. Because of its size, this angled XLR is a part of my kit when I travel now.

[0.135 lb] The Kopul XLR twist is an excellent addition to my audio bag. It gives me more flexibility when rigging my camera and sound kit.

The adapter is built well and feels rugged. I love that it can be rotated to fit whatever area you need it to fit into. Less strain on your cables and gear the cables are going into is never a bad thing.

I'm impressed and now I need 2-3 more of these.

[0.135 lb] My camera is a Canon XA10 and my Mic is an old 1950's Electro-Voice 664. On the XA10 (also from BH) the XLR is of course male as is the end of my XLR cable coming from the Mic. The moment I got this adaptor I was surprised by its weight. It's a good solid piece that feels good in the hand. The silver powder coat on it is thick and done well...I am impressed with this little piece that seems so nominal but is extremely important overall. For the price I must admit I was expecting something somewhat cheap but it is the opposite in being well made and the fitment is perfect.

[0.135 lb] The Kopul XLRTWIST-360-MF14 is extremely well built, nice and heavy. Since this is a TS 1/4 single ring plug, reminding that the signal output will be converted to unbalanced.

[0.135 lb] This works great. Having an XLR elbow comes in handy. It's great for routing cables. And having the ability to rotate the positions of the XLR for whatever situation arises is a huge plus. This flexibility is a big deal. I'm currently using it with a wireless receiver, but plan on using it with my mixer and audio bag also. Or any situation which calls for specific positioning of a cable. Having control on how you route cables is very helpful and can also eliminate any unnecessary strain on a sensitive XLR. This is big. Nothing worse than having an audio cable stop working during a shoot, or even worse, stop working intermittently. This can help with that and help extend the life of your audio cables. Also, I'm a neat freak with my gear, so being able to keep things nice and tidy is important to me. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

[0.135 lb] I rearranged my: Music Dungeon!
Unfortunately one of the racks, that fit extremely well just not quite enough room due to the straight XLR cable ends.

Initially I was looking fot right angled cables, but besides the expense, I had a difficult time finding ones that had the angle one one end and length needed without spending a Clint Eastwood: Fist Full of Dollars!

That does say the Kopul solution are not a bit pricy, but the options and quality made it a simple choice.

If you find yourself in a tight spot, well, these may not solve emery tight spot, but for XLR solutions they are excellent.
