[Mac] I picked the Launchpad X up thinking it would work for several Max4Live instruments designed for the original Launchpad which, sad to say, it wasn't. I decided to keep it, thinking it would be a good supplement to my Ableton Push 1 but I didn't realize that, because of its convenient size, good velocity-sensitive pads, and clear labels that I'd be using it MORE than my Push.

Specifically, when creating at my computer workstation I am used to getting up and walking over to a full-size 88-key controller or standing up to maneuver to my Push. Now, I have a (separately acquired) 25 mini-keys controller and this Launchpad X which I can, owing to long USB cables, bring to me rather than me going to them.

The pads are more sensitive than those on the Push 1 but they are also less prone to false-triggering which means I can play them longer and more consistently.

The clear (and limited) labels on the Launchpad X also mean I spend a lot less time hunting for functions compared to the Push. Switching from Session to Notes view, changing key and scale, and instant access to Ableton's Capture MIDI function have all been unexpected enhancements to my creativity.

Does it replace my Push? No -but it's addressed ways my studio and using my Push have previously slowed my process down.

[USB-C ] This is a great large keyboard for Mac. Very easy to see. The cap light is great to see when cap button is on. The plug in Led usb lamp is a great bonus and plugs in to the Keyboard. The two usb receptacles are another bonus !

[Yes, White] I'm a longtime Logic user, and the key combo switches from version 9 to X really altered my workflow. With this keyboard, I don't have to remember version X key changes, they're all right there in front of me. The backlighting is great for more vibey sessions, and the company was great about quickly replacing a couple key caps I messed up out of the box.

This keyboard has been great for streamlining my workflow and is a good heavy-duty replacement with a satisfying key swing/depth over Apple's flimsy aluminum consumer keypad.

[Yes, White] The touch is smooth & quiet. The adjustable back lighting is just as promised & the construction is great! Great purchase & worth every cent.

[Mac] Works perfectly, I use two DAWs for two different task. I use Ableton for tracking for church and other related stuff. I have committed to learning Logic for writing and scoring. This keyboard is helping me to do that. Short cuts are key to an efficient work flow. This keyboard pushes me to look for short cuts where I would normally fiddle around in drop downs. I will put it this way, if I was using Ableton on a separate work station, I would absolutely have the Ableton keyboard for it.

[Yes] I bought it for my short cut and extra usb ports. It works great and my MBP 2015 only allow 2 usb so it was kind of short for extra usb like iLok, midi keyboard and usb memory. Now kind of feel fine with extra usb. Sad that end of prodcution but B&H got it for me at last. Thank you!!

[Mac] Yeah I am just like you - never spent much on a keyboard but got by fine ... but if you look at your keyboard now - missing keys, faded, hair, crumbs, dust - you name it all caught up in those cracks. I finally did not cut this corner, blame it on the late night purchase but pulled the trigger. For 3 days I was like did I just spend 140.00 on a keyboard!? However, arrived and open and This keyboard is a Ferrari - awesome! heavy, backlit, easy to control and helps me edit like a dream, its just quality and the keys feel great, yeah it is not cheap but we spend all our money on hardware and this you can actually feel and touch this and you will appreciate. signed Production Dude.

[Titanium Gray] Fell in love with the Keyboard the first time I laid eyes on it. I had the
old Finale version of the Logickeyboard but the but the 'z key stopped working. The new keyboard took me 2 weeks to get working with Sequoia though. I didn't not want to return it because I new it had to work
