This display features two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, two HDMI 2.1 inputs, a USB-C input/output that supports DP 1.4, USB 3.2 Gen 2, and 90W of power delivery, three USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 inputs, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 input/output with 15W of charging power, four USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one of which supports 2A of charging power, a 3.5mm audio output, and an RJ45 network jack. All of this puts connectivity with almost any peripheral at your fingertips.

This UltraSharp display features a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 with a 60 Hz refresh rate, as well as coverage for 100% of the Rec. 709, 100% of the sRGB, and 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamuts. It also features In-Plane Switching (IPS) technology, support for 1.07 billion colors, a 16:9 aspect ratio, an anti-glare coating with a 3H hardness rating, a static contrast ratio of 1000:1, a typical brightness level of 350 nits, an 8 ms response time in normal mode, and a 5 ms response time in fast mode. Using the 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, it is possible to watch content from virtually any position. Audio can also be output using the dual 8W speakers.

To further help improve viewing and accessibility, this display features a tilt of -5 to 10°, a swivel of -20 to 20°, a height adjustment of 2.4", support for 100 x 100mm and 200 x 200mm VESA mounts.

Please note that to use any of the USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, the USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port with 15W of power, or the RJ45 port, one of its three USB-C inputs (data only) on the rear must be connected to your host system with either the included USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to USB-A cables. Also, USB-C is not supported on versions of Windows prior to Windows 10.

[IPS-Type LCD] The monitor is nice. Color is good. B&H is a better distributor than Dell directly. If you are replacing an older Dell monitor with a this one, just know that the older sound bar mounting is incompatible. You'll need to get a newer sound bar that fits properly. 5

[IPS-Type LCD] Awesome monitor! The colors and deep blacks are really nice. And the built in dock has been invaluable for switching between my work laptop and personal desktop. The monitor I received did have a defect in the panel (just some weird marks on the edges of the panel), but so far customer service has been great and they are sending a brand new monitor while allowing me to use the defective one until it arrives. I would have liked a non defective one, but I really can't ask for more on the customer service side of things. Thank you dell for making the process easy. My last dell monitor is over 10 years old 5

[3840 x 2160] Color accurate as Dell claims. I run it in a slightly scaled mode with my Macbook Pro 16. I use USB-C to my Satechi Thunderbolt dock connected to the computer and it works flawlessly. Note that if you use an HDMI adapter from a dock or the hdmi connection on a dock, or certain HDMI to USB-C adapters you may have the issue with it flashing black randomly very quickly maybe a couple times a day. It is like a disconnect type behavior. This is an Apple issue, not a Dell one. See the forums online. If running in full 4k unscaled, connect a quality HDMI cable directly to the Mac, or use a quality USB-C / Thunderbolt cable. You will be fine. At 4k native, I think the PPI is just a hair too small for comfort on text. I think the 5k 41 Dell monitor on native resolution has a slightly lower PPI so you could probably get away with that. I cam from a 43 Dell 4k monitor on native resolution so this is obviously a little more dense than that. Regardless, the style, quality, image quality, color, brightness, and the wonderful usb hub built into the monitor are great. No, unlike my 43, this does not have built in speakers, but Dell sells a clip on soundbar or you can just buy a slim computer speaker and sneak it under your desk somewhere since the sound quality is not the greatest anyways. For normal people I think 32 1440p is probably the best resolution to diagonal ratio, but 32 4k with a slight scale is great for getting just enough windows and not being too hard to read. 5

[103 ppi] The monitor is as advertised. It is bright with accurate color an easier to setup than expected. Paired with an M2 MacBook Pro, it does everything with Lightroom and Photoshop that I have right to expect at this price. I could have paid twice as much and not been happier. The only downside is that text is not quite as sharp as the 5K iMac that this system replaces. 5
