    Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I want to stream music via wifi vs. BT in my office; How does this unit connect to your wifi network?

A: The Pyle Pro PTA62BT 6-Zone Stereo Receiver with Bluetooth BH #PYPTA62BT is not a networked AV receiver and will not connect to WI-Fi. It will connect via Bluetooth with your mobile devices to stream music.

Q: 2. do you need an external amp with the PCM 2000 system ?

A: Yes, you still need an external amp with this system. The PCM 2000 in no way amplifies, only splits paging up into zones.

Q: 3. How can the comms port be setup and used from switcher side to camera operator side?

A: To utilize the comms port on the BirdDog Flex 4K HDMI In to Full NDI Encoder, communication software would be needed. You can find a compatible software here: https://bhpho.to/3YnzJQL.

Q: 4. how do you connect multiple speakers via bluetooth?

A: The Pyle Pro PTA62BT does not connect to bluetooth speakers. It pairs as a bluetooth output device to bluetooth input devices like smartphones and tablets. It has an amplifier inside of it that is made for powering speakers via speaker wire through the back of the receiver.

Q: 5. Could this work to power 4 Freespace DS 16F speakers? Thx

A: The Bose Professional FreeSpace DS 16F 2.25" 16W Passive Loudspeaker has transformer taps for 70V and 100V connections, as well as an 8-ohm bypass setting that specifies 16W RMS and 64W peak for each speaker. The Bose Professional FreeSpace IZA 250-LZ Integrated Zone Amplifier specifies 2 channels of speaker output offering 25W at 8 ohms, or 50W at 4 ohms. You could potentially squeeze in two DS 16F speakers on each channel if you wired them in parallel, which would create a 32W RMS load at 4 ohms. Ideally you would want to use an amplifier offering more adequate output power for this model and quantity of speakers.

Q: 6. I just purchased a Sescom Stereo RCA to TRRS 3.5mm Plug Line to Mic Level iPhone/iPod/iPad Summing Cables - 12 Inch (SES-IPSUMRCA12IN) Will it work being connected to a Macbook Pro (2015) headphone jack? And for recording in a DAW?

A: Hi Lest. There is a chance it will work, but it most likely will not, unless the jack "sees" the signal in the same way it does an Apple earbuds set or a headset with mic. Our IPSUM and IPHONE cables were not designed for Macbooks, but we are reviewing and will be testing and updating the line accordingly once tests are complete and we can fully advise whether cables work with Macbooks or not. Thank you!

Q: 7. How do you program the paging vox

    A: Please contact Bogen Communications directly:50 Spring St., Ramsey, NJ 07446 USATel: 201-934-8500 Fax: 201-934-9832a href= http://www.bogen.com target= _blank www.bogen.com/a

Q: 8. Can I view the feed from this through the NDI Monitor App on Apple TV?

A: Yes, you would need the NDI Monitor TV app for your apple tv.

Q: 9. Can I use this as an NDI Source in OBS or Xsplit Broadcaster? Do I need the transmitter to be on the same network as the receiving device?

A: Yes, an NDI workflow is compatiable with X-Split and OBS. The transmitter does need to be on the same network, it's integral to how NDI functions. Evey component of this workflow has to be NDI compatiable.Newtek has plugins and software available to make your computer, OBS, and Xsplit Broadcaster NDI compatible on their website.

Q: 10. Is the 750 Watts = to 125 Watts per speaker channel?

A: This is a 6 zone/12 channel amplifier. Max power is 750 watts divided by 12, so 62.5 watts per channel. I would like to note this is maximum power and it is not recommended to run any amplifier at continuous full power. I would recommend this product for use with speakers that require 40 watts RMS per speaker or less.

[PoE] This interface resolved some issues with using a TOA amp pre-out to feed our FM transmitter. Five minutes to install it, problem gone.

[PoE] We used this to clear up awful feedback on a P/A system. We put this in-line with our system and the feedback is completely gone. So, for my application it was perfect.

[PoE] I have been searching for this product now for some years and finally there it is, ordering very easy, delivery earlier than expected, made life recording from a camera with only mike input so much simpler.

[PoE] I have been using press boxes from different manufacturers for years and they all seem to have one problem or another. Sometimes the isolated outputs are not as isolated as they should be and one bad XLR cable introduces buzz and hum to the whole system. Other times the passive boxes just don't output a usable level. The Whirlwind PRESSMITE, however, seems to work perfectly. It comes with both a power supply and battery power options so it can be used everywhere. It has a switchable line/mic input and can provide phantom power. It is also the first one I have used that has a headphone out so you can check the output during setup. I have only used it a few times since I purchased the unit but it will be my go-to box for the foreseeable future. The one downside is that it only has two line outputs. I would like a few more but it is not really a big deal given that I more often use the mic levels anyway.

[10/100 Mb/s] Very portable and doesn't require power (2 9V batteries will work) so it goes everywhere. Easy to use, convenient headphone jack on the front. Second one I have bought.

[PoE] This is a very reliable phone-to-PA interface. It is very simple to install and reasonably priced. Since wrong numbers are a problem with some of my systems, requiring an access code is essential. It is very easy to program.

[10/100 Mb/s] Having a Active model like this Whirlwind PressMite takes the guess work out of it as this one takes Mic or Line in & is adjustable .... I'm glad I didn't go cheap on this !
