[Parts & Labor] New lenses are expensive, and I don't want to shell out for an unexpected repair after the warranty expires, or worse yet, have to replace it because of an accidental drop or damage. [ADP] I haven't had to use the extended warranty or damage protection yet (knock on wood) but I feel confident having it. I was able to create an online Sony portal to refer back to my coverage and get relevant information. It was easy to set up and at a great price. 5

[Parts & Labor] A sudden gust of wind blew over my tripod and sent my last camera, only 1 year old, crashing to the ground rendering it inoperable. Unfortunately it is too costly to fix nor do I have any insurance on it. It's not only the cost of the camera that I lost but also the investment in time getting to know my camera. In my opinion, it's well worth it to protect my investment. 5
