Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can it (67 mm lens hoods) be used in Zeiss Batis 25 mm F2.0 without Vignetting?

A: A generic option such as this can be used, however it may not alleviate all vignetting as it was not specifically designed for this lens. The correct hood would be the ZEISS Lens Hood for Batis 25mm f/2 Lens (B&H # ZELS25B) which will not cause vignetting.

Q: 2. What size is the shaft? 8mm, 10mm, ?

A: The shaft size on this umbrella would be 8mm.

Q: 3. Will this fit a Canon RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 lens?

A: While the Sensei 67mm hood will fit the Canon 100-400mm RF lens, it is not the best match for the lens. This Vello is designed specifically for the Canon 100-400mm RF as well as the Canon 70-300mm IS II lens: https://bhpho.to/3GbXL6i

Q: 4. Is there an adaptor that I can put use a manfrotto 501 plate for quick detach?

A: Axler QRP-501S Quick Release Plate (Standard) B&H # AXQRP501S

Q: 5. Will this work on a Nikon Coolpix P900???

A: I bought this for my P900, it screws on, but pops right off. I suggest spending a little more money on one rather than getting this one. The collapseable hood I purchased stays on fine.

Q: 6. Will this fit and work properly on a Fujifilm 18-135mm zoom lens?

A: While we are not aware of the exact combination's compatibility, B&H # FU1813535WRL has the proper filter thread and focal length to work with this hood. It should work.

Q: 7. I am looking to purchase a 67mm lens but most of my existing filters are 77mm. If I use a 67-77 mm step up ring for filters then the canon lens hood can’t be used. Could I use this 67 mm rubber hood with the step up ring attached to the hood? If so, will there be any impact to the image?

A: You would more likely want to use a hood based on the 77mm size of the filter. That way the step up ring will not have fitting issues with the inside of the hood.

Q: 8. Will this fit a AF-S DX NIKKOR18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR

A: Yes it will fit 100%

Q: 9. is this compatible with Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM

A: Yes, the Heliopan 67mm Metal Lens Hood (Long) will fit onto the 67mm filter threads on the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM Lens.

Q: 10. Will this work on the Canon SX50HS ?

A: You could use the sensei 67mm screw-on lens hood with the SX50 HS, though you would need the Canon Filter Adapter FA-DC67A (B&H# CAFADC67A): the SX50 HS doesnt have a standard front filter thread. You would be better off using one of the bayonet hoods designed for the SX50. They dont require an adapter.http://bhpho.to/1nn2qS6

[Multi Coated] If you're looking to try long exposure on a budget, this is a very solid buy.

I bought this for a first attempt at long exposure waterfalls and I am immensely pleased, especially with the price point. I shoot black & white so I can't comment on any possible color aberrations, but all of my shots are clean and sharp. It took getting sprayed by waterfalls in the middle of winter very well, cleans easily and threads smoothly. Best paired with 100 speed film on bright sunny days, it only took me down to 1-2 seconds with 400 speed.

[0.205 lb] I was very surprised at the results of this filter. I wasn't expecting much based on it's price (sale price especially), but when I tested it, I noticed virtually zero difference in sharpness. I also didn't notice much of a color shift either when using it. Definitely worth the money!

[Glass] I purchased a Nikon 500mm f5.6 and this filter to protect it. This filter does not interfere with the lens hood and the lens cap snaps into it fine. I liked the high light transmissiveness for the price.

[0.205 lb] I am a film photographer and I bought this for my Pentax f/1.4 50mm lens to shoot long exposures of waterfalls. For such a low price I was prepared for problems but all of my images were beautiful and consistent, no difference in picture quality at different exposure times and different lighting conditions. The fact it is waterproof was greatly appreciated since the spray radius off some of the falls was quite impressive. Overall very pleased especially for the price, I would def buy from this brand again.
Good to note: I primarily shoot black and white, and the only color shots I took with this filter were at night, so I can't really speak to how it might affect colors. What I did shoot looked accurate and I don't see any discoloration.

[Multi Coated] I didn't notice any light leaks, color cast, vignetting or an x-effect.

These K&F filters have a hard stop at both ends whereas some of their other variable ND filters spin freely.

Overall a really great value. Perfect for video!

[Aluminum] A filter like this is a MUST HAVE if you want to level up how your images (for photography and video) look in broad, intense daylight in one fell swoop.

They reduce the overall amount of light coming in the camera so you can stop down for a beautiful optically blurred out background and heavily reduce intense sunlight reflections, virtually adding dynamic range in daylight. I knew this would help my shots but my jaw dropped when a got the footage back from testing locations for a project, with and without. (attached photos are screen grabs of video. Shot on Sony A74, Sigma 24-70 f2.8) *Note: This is my first ND filter and first polarizer.

My testing has found a slight cyan cast in the area where sunlight can hit the lens where shadows can be seen, it looks almost dreamy and I kind of like it, but not perfectly color preserving. With Nano-X Pro, I have not encountered any dark X pattern no mater how I adjusted it, which is far better than most Variable ND + Circular Polarizer filters on the market. The included pouch is made of materials that feel great in the hand and its pull tab that makes the filter rise out of the pouch is a very nice touch that makes me wish K&F Concept included this pouch with more filters and also sold separately. I want other filters in these things! (Wile they do sell other pouches. They do not sell the ones included with these filters.)

If you are on the fence and don't have a ND or polarizer, just get it. It took a while for Polar Pro to finally release something like this, and the price of this one STILL undercuts it. If you are a videographer/photographer, image quality is super important and this is a fantastic tool to help you properly expose your shots. There is a reason why Directors of Photography have built in ND filters on their wish list for their cinema cameras and this is why, it makes their job so much easier and allows them to focus on building the look that they want.

[Glass] I am a fine atr / abstract photographer. I use this Warm Black Diffusion filter for still life, portrait, landscape and even shots of buildings and vehicles . The color tones of my subjects are very soft...also have an almost ebony hue to them. I seldom use Photoshop...I still love using lense filters. What's not so great? I cannot think of anything right now.

[Multi Coated] Bought specifically to use with my GF lenses for the Fuji GFX 50r. Truly does give a more filmic look right to the RAW files. Great for back light and creating natural lens flare. Skin texture is lovely as well.
