The Mounting Kit attaches to the side of the Canon C300/500 Helmet (sold separately) via a Z-Rail and two mounting screws. Once attached, it allows independent forward/backward, side to side, and tilt adjustment of the Z-Finder, with each adjustment point featuring its own spring-loaded lever.

A: It has a built in Z-Rail perfect for adding the Zacuto Tactical Handle. Or if desired, you can reattach your Canon Handle to the plate. If you opt to use Canon's camera handle, and need to mount an Axis for a Gratical EVF, you can mount the Z-Rail Axis mount to the front of your top plate and it will give you a 15mm quick release rod port to mount the Axis Mini, EVF Mount.

A: Sorry, I was wrong. I guess it will work without having the Zacuto top handle. But the top handle give you a lot more options. I don't use the Z-finder much at all but i do like how you can adjust the C300 viewfinder a lot with the zacuto setup.
