Easily mount, conceal, and protect your lav mics from wind with the Deity Microphones WLP Lavalier Deluxe Accessory Kit. This universal kit includes furry windshield, foam windscreens, adhesive disks, and tie clips that fit most 4mm lavaliers on the market, like the Deity WLP Pro and Dual-Head W.Lav Pro, RODE Lavalier GO, and the Sanken COS11D.

The two foam windscreens have been upgraded to feature rubber gaskets that keep them snuggly in place and prevent them from slipping on the lavalier head. The five disposable adhesive disk are designed to be used with the two pieces of faux fur to create a seal around the lavalier head. The two black fluff balls are there in case you need even more wind production.

Q: 1. Can I wire the zoom mic/recorder to my android laptop and use as a live mic for video conference or vlogging?

A: I tried the H1n on a PC and could not get the computer to recognize it as an audio input device. This is not to say that it won't work on your android laptop...but it didn't work on my PC.

Q: 2. My friend gave me his but neither him or I know if it has to have a specific program to work, does it? And can I just plug it in and will it work for iPhone 6plus voice memo?

A: The Lavalier requires a Micon connector to plug into any device. The correct Micon for smartphone use is the Micon 11. Once plugged in, it will become the default audio input device for the iPhone and will work with any recording app.

Q: 3. Looking into using the MKE2 with the tascam dr-10l would that work? As well as would there be any downsides to doing that?

A: There would be no downsides and would be a big improvement in sound.

Q: 4. what is the country of origin for this product? Needed for importing purposes.

A: There are three different products in this kit. The Zoom H1n is from China. Rode makes their products in Australia however, the SC3 adapter is from Taiwan.

Q: 5. Can anyone vouch - from experience - for how well the limiters protect against clipping? (I've never got much benefit from the Zoom H5's compressor/limiter set, whereas the H5's back-up file option - at -12dB - is extremely reliable and effective.)

A: The limiter works fine.

Q: 6. Which size works with a Sennheiser ME-2? (Medium or Large)

A: Large

Q: 7. I have to of these one has a little blue tag at the bottom just beside the mini jack, the other doesn't have a blue tag is there a difference? The one that doesnt have the blue tag is doing a very disturbing humming, can you tell me something about that?

A: Sennheiser changed the cabling last year. The new blue indicator is now wired RED center, BLUE ring and NO Shield. The shield wire is now wired to the BLUE side in the capsule. Do not wire the shield.

Q: 8. If a stereo microphone is plugged into the 1/8" input jack will both the left and right channels be recorded separately?

A: In this situation, the left and right signals will be recorded to the left and right sides of a stereo track, separately.

Q: 9. Is there a tripod screw mount?

A: Yes there is.

Q: 10. can you connect this to the mic jack of the camera ?

A: Yes

[2] This is a great sounding lav with an amazing price that I've recently used on a professional shoot. It works on many voices and has a wider frequency response and maximum spl (20 Hz to 20 kHz, 130dB SPL) than the popular Sanken COS-11D (50-20khz, 127dB SPL).

When micing properly, you will get amazing low mids that will add extra umph to the voice without it being sibilant. Some might find that's not as natural sounding, however, pro tip: add low cut filter on your mixer/recorder or post and it will take away that umph and give you a natural sound. It is also better for a mic to capture more frequencies so you have more to work with.

At this price that will sound amazing (and better than some boom mics) when you pair it with the right system, this is a no brainer. It also has a great size with good water/weatherproofing. Don't let the brand and the price fool you.

[0.23 lb] I'm an actor, and these days we all have to do self-tapes for our auditions. Sound is very important but I didn't want a lavalier that would be big or bulky. As this is a relatively inexpensive mic that is also used in the film industry, I decided to give it a try. The sound is amazing! *note that you will need to buy an adapter the matches whatever receiver or input you're attaching it to* and the mic head is so small, I'm able to hide it easily and make broadcast quality auditions.

[0.23 lb] You are going to be very hard pressed to find anything better for the price. And that is just facts! I currently have four, and will be ordering more in the near future! They sound great, easy to hide, and quite rugged! I have used them in action scenes with great success.

[Accessory Kit] This lav mic is the most expensive one I've ever bought, therefore my comparison is biased to the pricing range between $40 to $160.

- $40 Classic Pro CEM1-SE -- an awful noisy lav mic
- $90 Tascam TM-10LB -- bundled in Tascam DR-10L
- $160 Deity W.Lav Pro (DA35 Bundle)

Test recorded with Tascam DR-10L, I immediately recognized was how natural the sound is. Unlike the other lav mics, recorded sound didn't have any artificial output that sounds like electronic response.

There was some white noise like the others, but the noise could be easily removed by iZotope RX8 without losing the original tone. It is worth to note the other lav mics are much more distorted on RX8 without careful configuration.

Highly recommended if you're looking for alternatives to cheaper range lav mics.

[0.23 lb] After exploring many options in this price range this sounded the best to my ears. Very natural sounding even under a shirt. The size makes it easy to hide. The length of the cord is long enough to attach the recorder at the ankle area for tight clothing. The case it comes with is a nice bonus. Is it better than mics twice it's price? No.
I find this mic with a zoom f2 work together to make nice sounding lav mic recording for my productions. This with a boom mic brings a professional sound I need for editing. Sound is part of the story that no other medium can recreate.
It's the story that keeps people's attention. You can tell it with lighting, editing, visuals, emotion, and sound. Telling the story with sound and emotional content are number one in my book.
When you come to the point you figure out the story is King and equipment are the tools used to share the story, you have a chance to make your life and others better with the art you create.

[2] The mic audio is crisp and clear with the right settings on both the Sennheiser EW G3 & my Sony ZV-1. Great replacement mic for the stock lav mic my G3s came with. Comes with windscreens and a good amount of tape to use when hiding the mic on the subject. Highly recommend!

[2] I'm going from an old Sennheiser ME2 microphone, and using this with my new Sony UWP-D21 transmitter along with the Deity adapter. The clarity is noticeably better. It sounds like the person is speaking right to me through my headphones or out of the speakers, whereas the older mic sounded like an obvious lavalier microphone to me. I also love that this comes in a nice case with different wind screens and foam sticky pads. Very happy with this mic.
