[36.00 W] So far a great hard drive. An easy plug and play on my Mac. My last drive a Fantom only lasted for two years (with a one year warranty). So I was very happy to see the three year warranty that this came with. 5

[Yes] Love the build, good fan for keeping the temperature down, and activity indicator light is nice and the power light is a nice bright white to let you know it's on. The fan is audible but it's fair considering that you don't feel any heat from the enclosure. I've already copied 8TB's of data on the first day for 10 hours nonstop. No hitching. The extra usb c port on the back to attach an additional hard drive to it is also a nice touch. Currently using it with a Seagate Ironwolf Pro 18TB and works like a charm. Easy setup. Getting consistent 200 MB/s transfer speeds with Fastcopy. 5

[36.00 W] This enclosure looks like it's from the 1990s. It's heavy, it's metal, it has a fan AND it has a built-in power supply. It has a power cord, but NO BRICK! There is a second USB-C port to daisy chain more devices. I have an 8TB Iron Wolf Pro installed and the Tech Tool Pro software is measuring write speed at 345 MB/s, read speed at 278 MB/s. I have not installed an SSD yet, but you can install a 2.5 SSD or HDD in this box. I am very happy with this enclosure at this point. I may have to get another one if this one starts to get lonely. 5

[Yes] Very easy to set up, completely quiet. Good quality construction. Installed an 18 GB spinny drive, plugged it in, and got to work. Love that it comes with a cable, has a power switch, and an internal power supply (no wall wart!). May order another one just to have a spare (because products get discontinued, and I like things to match). Haven't tried the external USB-C port, but I would daisy-chain a second unit. Would purchase again. 5

[Yes] I tried several enclosures and I finally think I found a winner. This thing is solid. Really solid and the fan is so quiet I didn't think it worked at first. However you can definitely feel it. Seriously good bye especially when you can switch HDDs out as your needs change for more storage. 5

[4.58 lb] I bought this for use with a 22TB HDD that I'd bought to archive a large engineering project I'd recently completed. So far, so good. It's rugged, and the hard drive's temperatures topped out at 40C. It gets along fine with Linux; I saw no errors reported. Performance is on par with what other reviewers have mentioned. 5

[ 3.5" HDD ] 22TB SanDisk Pro G-Drive drive review I'm using this drive in a large photo and film Archive. I purchase a sample drive to test out before committing to more drives. The reformat to Windows is a pain. Luckily, I found a YT video that walked me through it. After reformatting the drive to Windows, the 22TB shrunk to 20TB. That is disappointing. It is not that noisy, just a few clicks once in a while. It is decently fast and really kinda quiet. I am using a USB3.0 port with Oyen adapter cable to go from USB C to USB A. SanDisk only gives you a USB C cable. Time will tell how they hold up, but if they do hold up, I plan to buy a few more. 5

[Aluminum] Needed this drive at the last minute when a drive holding a copy of my first feature crashed. Delivery took 2 days and we were back up and running. 5
