Q: 10. I have an Oben monopod that uses an RP-20 release plate and want to purchase an Oben tripod that uses the same release plate. To do this, is my choice of tripods limited to those that specifically use the RP-20 or are some of the other plates, e.g. the RP-10 used in the BA-111, compatible with the RP-20?

A: The RP-20 release plate is different than the RP-10 release plate and is not interchangeable. The RP-20 is only used on the tilt head. There are no Oben tripods that come with a head that uses that plate. You can get just legs and get a head without a quick release and add that specific release. This is a link for just the Oben tripod legs without a head, http://bhpho.to/1nOWTHX. And you have many tripod heads that do not have a release like this one, http://bhpho.to/1mkNCCu.And then a release that works with the RP-20, http://bhpho.to/1npvKNq

[Black / Gray] For its size I am very happy with this purchase. Balances my 400 2.8 and R5 gripped very well and everything smaller. I’m sure it would have no trouble with a 600 f4 either. Much smaller and lighter than my previous head the MVH502AH

[Black / Gray] This thing is still small and light and sturdy and I can bring it everywhere. Most importantly, I don't go ugh, when I have to pack it. It's not shaky like most aluminum tripods I have used either. The built in monopod is a super clever feature. I'm having fun showing that off to people who bring a separate monopod to shoots.

[Black / Gray] I've been in search for the perfect table top tripod for many years now and I think I've finally found it. There's only so many ways to reinvent the tripod and this unique 3 stage design really caught my eye. It's beyond sturdy, the included ball head is a steal to get bundled with this tripod, and my only con is that it's not the lightest tripod but it doesn't claim to be. Overall, would highly recommend!

[Black / Gray] Light and sturdy.  Holds my Canon 7D Mark II with the 100-400mm lens steady.  I bought it for my air travel trips, and I like the conversion to a  monopod.

[Black / Gray] I just got this and i really like it. It s light but sturdy and solid. The best part is the lever locks on the legs. I m not a fan of the ones that you have to twist. I was lucky to get this during the black Friday sale.

[Black / Gray] The Leofoto is a game changer for solo travelers. It is strong enough to hold in position my Hasselblad X2D 100c and my XCD lenses. The infinitely adjustable legs make it easy to level on rock terrain during hikes or fasten and hang from a fence for night photography.
Highly recommended

[Black / Gray] I wanted to try the mini tripod with my xt5 and my bulkier lens, the xf 70-300, which is not a heavy piece of equipment, but I had my doubts, 0 problems

[Black / Gray] Tested this all morning as a new product and will be doing a video review of this one soon. Quick thoughts, supports and counterbalances 15lbs easily. Good ergonomics. Nice drag controls, easy to use. Lighter than most supporting this weight. Overall Winner!
Cons: a hair of slack when changing the drag, wish there were 1-2 more counterbalance setting (there is frictionless and 3 steps on top of that, 4-5 would have been perfect)

[Black / Gray] I use this tripod primarily for landscapes and architecture. It is light, portable, reliable, and very easy to setup and tear down. The twist-lock legs make for very fast setup, tear-down, and adjustments. The legs are easily adjustable, but hold their position well. Its easy and quick to switch between standard, inverted, and mono-pod camera mounting setups. I highly recommend this tripod for anyone looking for a solid, on-the-go tripod.
