[10 W] This monitor is feature packed for the price. We are using it for an on set production monitor which works very well. It has everything you would want including audio monitoring at the monitor. Focus peaking is very nice and the wave form is handy too. We use the NP-F970 batteries and we yet have to change batteries during a shoot. I was also very pleasantly surprised when the monitor arrived in a very nice metal case. The only negative is the menu navigation is a bit clunky but is alright once you get used to it. Bottom line... You'll have to pay more than twice the money for a monitor with the same features and quality. Highly recommended for low budget and student film programs.

[1024 x 600] I have used this monitor on a SDI cable with the Blackmagic Cinema Camera. It is the only affordable solution to monitoring on SDI and it works as advertised.

[6.5 to 24 VDC] The monitor is solid and the price is right! The menus and setting sharpness, color, are not that difficult to navigate. I haven't seen anyone have problems setting it yet. I just can't wait until I have a moment to wire up, integrate it's tally.

[1024 x 600] Had this monitor since 2018, and I use it manly for focus pulling. It's a great monitor, good brightness, easy to use buttons and at a great price. Construction is a bit flimsy but it's held together so far for me over 5 years for me. I am gently on my gear though, I take care of it. I wouldn't rent this out in fear of it being damaged. Only complaints are sometimes the sdi in can be a bit finicky, but it's usually the type of cable you have attached. Doesn't like a lot of strain/weight on the input. Haven't used HDMI much so can't attest to that. Throw on a large battery and this thing can run for hours! Wouldn't throw any more money into a fancier monitor when there are so many other things that are more important.

[6.5 to 24 VDC] I am an independent producer, shooter, editor, scriptwriter, etc. I shoot a great many interviews and have, as of late, been reducing the size and weight of the gear I have to lug around. For the last year, I have been lugging around a TV set I bought@. It was cheap and I really only needed it for positioning of the interviewee. I had to bring power blocks and stingers to run the TV set. Now, with this hot little monitor, I not only get great positioning, outstanding quality of image, and other features (some of which I don't use), it also runs forever on batteries. Before I purchased it, I read some of the reviews. I must say that I could find none of the problems other people say they had. I think most of those other reviewers preferred to open the package, turn everything on, and, then, when it wasn't exactly what they expected, tried to read the instructions. I read them first and the unit is great. I have compared it with other units that cost four times as much and I can't tell the difference.

[800:1] This monitor worked great for use as an on-camera preview monitor. We used it with an SDI cable for a VariCam35 and the client and the camera operator was able to see the composed shot, which looked great on the screen. We had to use a different arm for the monitor, though, this only comes with a hot shoe mount, which we could not use on our camera.

[800:1] We needed a monitor for our production team because we were using an old TV for awhile instead. It works great, especially for when filming outside.

[10 W] Excellent features for the price. I never know how much difference a field monitor would make in our production quality. This unit has false color which aids focussing; wave form and histogram views to aid the lighting set-up up front so less effort is needed in post. Unit comes with a sun shield for outdoor use and has a variety of mounting options. It can be mounted on top of a DSLR with the hot shoe mount or on a stand or tripod. Multiple inputs formats can be used although I only use the HDMI input. I use a separate HDMI selector switch to enable multiple cameras to use the same monitor which facilitates camera matching.

[1024 x 600] I am a sound mixer who uses this monitor just as a frame reference, however I did have the DIT/Color grader and a camera guy comment on how good it looked fresh out of the box. Very impressed with the large size and powering options that it comes with.
