[0.15 lb] I was in need of a new mousepad. Ergonomics was a key factor for me. In looking I discovered the 3M gel wrist mousepad. The added bonus is the use of recycled materials and a very unique mousing surface that extends battery life by 75 percent for wireless mice. It also has unique antimicrobial protection which is a plus. Wrist rest offers great support. When used with a nice economic mouse, in my case the Evoluent Vertical Mouse 4, you definitely notice the difference in hand and wrist fatigue. Not sure it is for everyone but certainly fits the bill for me......Great innovative concept by 3M.

[8.8 x 8 x 0.2"] This is my mousepad. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My mousepad is my best friend, it is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my mousepad is useless. Without my mousepad, I am useless.

Jokes aside, I've had two of these acting as a deskpad for around four months. There's no fraying or slipping, and while it initially smelled bad in the way a new car smells bad, that went away after about two or three days.

For three dollars this is probably the best mousepad you can get and is perfectly fine. If you want better tracking then you need to shop at a higher price point.

[0.15 lb] I got this because my mouse had been tracking poorly on wood, and the difference is amazing. The mouse tracks perfectly, moves the pointer so smoothly, so quickly that I almost want to turn down the pointer sensitivity, and pixel-perfect precision. My mouse is wireless, but I never paid attention to how often I change batteries, so I can't really say if it improves battery life. Regardless, I recommend this highly.
