A: The Sensei 62mm Quick Clip Lens Hood is a non dedicated lens hood. It screws on like a filter and unlike dedicated hoods it does not lock into position.

As far as screwing the shade onto the lens, it should work from that standpoint. As far as providing the proper amount of shade for this focal length, it should. This is a wide angle lens shade, and I have not used this particular lens. The worst performance, I would think, that you would expect would be slight vignetting around image edges. I am not saying that vignetting would happen; I am saying it is a slight possibility. Keep this in mind; filters, shades and lens dimensions with the same diameters are interchangeable among brands. I have had good success with Sensei products from B & H on various brands of lens.
