[Glass] Excellent construction, perfect fit, clear filter, seals out dust and rain, and keeps camera small, which is what I was seeking. OEM lens cap fits it as well. I don’t want a big hood on my little camera, and if there’s direct light, I shield it with my hand.

[Glass] The lens hood / filter is of high quality and fits my Fujifilm X100v like a glove. The finish matches the camera body (sliver in my case) and doesn't look like a third-party accessory. It also reduces the over bulk in-front of the camera lens in comparison to the original filter ring adapter from Fujifilm + an UV filter to make the camera weather resistant.
The only con is that it doesn't have a filter thread in front for mounting a CPL filter or a ND filter when required; but if you can live with that its a great accessory for your camera.

[Dedicated] Great way to protect a great lens. Lens cap fits snuggly over the filter. Good packaging!

[UV] You need a good filter to completely weather seal a X100V and this NiSi filter fits snug as a bug. The color match is perfect, too. Best part is the cap still fits!

[0.105 lb] This is a fantastic accessory for the x100vi. The big upside is the uv filer waterproofs your camera, and the adapter ring lets you add another filter on such as a Mist or glimmer glass filter, also the stock lens cap still fits on there if you aren't using the square hood and speaking of the square look it does its job and also looks really good on the camera. I think the build quality combined with all you get, justifies the 99 dollar price and provides a good value.

[Glass] Surprised that Fuji don't include something like this with their X100 series cameras. Works really well. When you get it, make sure you take off the little ring off first on the X100! When I got this product, I was flummoxed why it wouldn't fit, so remember about the little ring on front. It can be a little tight but it will screw off. Keep the little ring as an accessory in case you want to re-sell the camera.

[0.105 lb] The Fuji ring dented with one tiny drop. A square one never lined up horizontally. This is perfect! And incredibly, get to use the original cap, which is wonderful.

[Glass] This filter is a necessity for the Fuji x100V. It looks like it is part of the camera and the best part is that you can use the original lens cap with this filter attachment. So happy they make these.

[Dedicated] Why Fujifilm said the X100V is weather sealed EXCEPT for the front of the lens I'll never know. I've never heard of this caveat on any other camera. Anyway, Fuji, maybe design something like the Nisi filter next time! This filter goes on after you take Fuji's finial ring off. It makes the camera about 7mm deeper or about 1/4 inch. Not bad! I have not noticed any degradation in images that some other reviews have mentioned. Nisi is a big time filter manufacturer so I figured this would be a quality product and it is. Not the cheapest solution but so simple, elegant, easy to use. Put it on and forget it. The Fuji lens cap fits on it nice and snug too. Not sure how well this solution will do with regards to lens hood ability but I didn't want a big lens hood hanging off my X100V anyway. Besides, it will help to some degree due to the xtra depth. Bottomline, I highly recommend this filter for the X100V. Good job Nisi!

[0.105 lb] I think this is the best option to keep a X100v weather resistant, while also keeping it as compact as possible. The look of a hood on an X100 camera is great, but to me it defeats the purpose of having the camera compact enough to take it with you. (Buy a Xpro-3 then.)

This hit the nail right on the head, with both build quality being very good, and design that is clever, and better then the Fuji option, all while retaining the original lens cap.

I have had not noticed a difference in focus speed, or accuracy, with my X100v and would say its just as good without it. The older X100 models don't focus as well, and can not confirm they wouldn't have issues.
