This 50Wh Mini V-Mount Battery from SHAPE features a newly redesigned, lightweight, and compact form factor, making it suitable for small or large cameras, monitors, lights, and other professional video equipment. The 50Wh rechargeable V-mount battery includes built-in USB and DC interfaces, allowing users to power or charge various electronic and mobile devices. The battery can also be charged via the USB-C input/output port.

The integrated LCD screen shows voltage, amperage, time, percentage, and battery level, and the box-like design allows for easy stacking and transport. The battery offers a 14.4V output and supports a 5A continuous draw. A twist D-Tap port facilitates powering accessories and prevents incorrect cable connections and polarity inversion. [5.1 x 4 x 3.1"] I use these extremely compact batteries primarily to power my Zoom F8n recorder via Hirose 4-pin via D-Tap or Sony FX3 cameras via USB C. The capacity is perfect for these low-power devices (usually lasting an entire day's work) and the availability of both USB A and USB C is a superb combination for powering all sorts of devices. I have on several occasions saved gigs by being able to charge clients tablets/phones containing their sheet music. The absolute best feature overall is that it, along with VB99 and VB155, can fast charge over USB C. Simply plug in just about any name brand USB C laptop charger and you're off to the races. No bulky expensive V-mount charger necessary. The battery will communicate automatically with the charger to accept the optimal voltage and current. SmallRig make two accessories worth considering for this, a V-mount belt clip, and a bulky but good quality V-mount stand clamp. The screen is very much not a gimmick and very useful for diagnosing if devices are getting power. I find the power % readings are reliable and consistent. 5

[V-Mount] Powers my R5C and Atomos ninja 5 perfectly with dtap connection. I've used it twice so I don't have a long term review. But you can see the battery life on the interface and how much power is being used 5

[14.4 VDC] This is a must! The battery charge fast and hold the charge event with the type S and type C on the go. Is light enough to be on a bag or either your pocket! I highly recommend to get one of this awesome battery! 5

[5.1 x 4 x 3.1"] First-time V-Mount user and I'm pretty pleased with the connectivity. The USB-C port is perfect for powering my R5C. Very pleased but will pickup the larger watt batteries for longer shoots. 5
