[Drums] Works great and really intuitive to use. There's plenty of video reviews and demos on the net to help learn the workflow for noobs like me. It's portable and great for spur of the moment ideas and helps get started learning electronic music without too many distractions.

[Standard] I’m relatively new to drumming. I play an Alesis Forge kit and have been using a piano bench so far. I’ve managed a couple of music store a couple of decades ago and have sat on plenty of drum thrones. I knew I needed something solid, yet comfortable. As a classical guitarist, I know the necessity for a chair that facilitates my playing and keeps me comfortable enough to play long performances and to be able to sit through hours of practice. I am a very disciplined musician so I know right out of the gates that I will be playing the drums a lot. I want to be very good at it. When purchasing this throne, I knew I needed something to serve the aforementioned. I also didn’t want to invest more money than necessary. This throne has proven to serve my needs well without compromising my bank account. I definitely recommend this throne to anyone who understands where I’m coming from, beginner or seasoned. it feels very sturdy and cushions my rear quite well.

[Drums] The PCY175 is so much more responsive than the PCY135 in many ways. IT reacts and sounds more like a 20 brass cymbal by either Zildjian, Paiste depending on how you have the sound parameters set up on your module. I have the DTX-Pro module and love it!

[Standard] The Novation Circuit Tracks is by far the greatest groovebox ever built. I bought the original Circuit the week it came out in 2015, fell in love instantly, and over the years trained myself to sequence better parts. The Circuit Tracks is a fantastic follow up with two additional MIDI lanes, newly added scene functionality, and an expanded sequencer featuring step duration for each individual pattern. The sound engine appears the same as on the original Circuit but the original Circuit had a bit of digital hum to it and that has completely been removed. The delay and reverb effects are quite useful at low settings for creating ambience and at longer settings quite useful at creating washes of sound. All the knobs make real-time tweaking a joy and all the macro knobs can be recorded in your sequences for looped use. The Novation Components editor is quite good for patch design and as a librarian for backing up your sessions. I wasn't able to use my microSD card with this, as it wouldn't usually stay in and, when I did get it in, it would not copy my entire session to a new session slot. I do think this was a defect of my unit and not a consistent hardware error. This thing is great for the studio and perfect for DAWless jams but my dream is to really get nitty gritty with it and tour with it. I believe that's what Novation would want.

[Download] I have one complaint and ten thousand praises. (The complaint is that Kupo used a really lousy phillips-head screw for adjusting the tension of the leg-adjust clamp. I took it off, went to Ace Hardware and got a 3mm hex head replacement.) The praises are many! Lightweight, sturdy, smooth. Great height. Clipping together is a novelty, but it's not the reason to buy this stand. I can clip them together with the flashes still attached (though it will depend on your flash mount's bulk), but not with the external battery packs clamped on the stand too. It's really just an good stand (I've owned soooo many over the last six or seven years). I didn't think I could love anything but a solid steel stand, but Kupo knows their stuff.

[Standard] I haven't even watched the videos on how to properly use this groovebox yet, and I'm already having so much fun. It's my first after researching different samplers and grooveboxes. A video online helped me decide on this one as a beginner and I have zero regrets. I also appreciate that B&H matched a discounted price.

[Download] When I purchased my TD 25KV electronic drum kit, the folks at B&H added this throne free of charge. DW makes great products and this drum throne is no exception. Great overall quality with plenty of adjustment. Very comfortable if you play for long periods of time. The additional locking feature on the height adjustment keeps the seat at the perfect level all the time. Excellent drum throne!

[Standard] I bought 2 units, for both the kick and the hi-hat to be used in TD-11KV drum set. My neighbor downstairs can now sleep in peace without someone like me making noises like I was playing basketball in my room lol. The units absorb almost perfectly the vibrations caused by the pedals.
