[Solid ND] The VND itself looks very good. No ugly X over the image. The game changers for me are the hard stops on the variable ring and the magnetic mount. I got rid of my tiffen immediately.

[Glass] I'm no filter snob, but this seems like an outstanding build quality to me, the case they send for it is a wonderful touch as well. Feels nice, looks nice, does what its supposed to do, great case. What's not to love K&F makes good, reasonably priced products; and I've never had an issue with anything purchased from them, this is not the exception.

[Multi Coated] I didn't notice any light leaks, color cast, vignetting or an x-effect.


These K&F filters have a hard stop at both ends whereas some of their other variable ND filters spin freely.


Overall a really great value. Perfect for video!

[Glass] I am a film photographer and I bought this for my Pentax f/1.4 50mm lens to shoot long exposures of waterfalls. For such a low price I was prepared for problems but all of my images were beautiful and consistent, no difference in picture quality at different exposure times and different lighting conditions. The fact it is waterproof was greatly appreciated since the spray radius off some of the falls was quite impressive. Overall very pleased especially for the price, I would def buy from this brand again.
Good to note: I primarily shoot black and white, and the only color shots I took with this filter were at night, so I can't really speak to how it might affect colors. What I did shoot looked accurate and I don't see any discoloration.

[Aluminum] I was very surprised at the results of this filter. I wasn't expecting much based on it's price (sale price especially), but when I tested it, I noticed virtually zero difference in sharpness. I also didn't notice much of a color shift either when using it. Definitely worth the money!

[Multi Coated] That K&F Concept filter is really excellent stuff, in the range with famous Hoya filters for amateurs. Filter for 21. century photo-, film- and video-enthusiasts!

[Aluminum] Well made, does exactly what an ND filter should.

[Glass] Set your camera shutter speed, f stop, iso, and then whenever there's too much light just turn the Nano-X Pro Variable ND Filter and your picture will never be overexposed anymore!

[Multi Coated] No complaints yet.

[Glass] If you're looking to try long exposure on a budget, this is a very solid buy.

I bought this for a first attempt at long exposure waterfalls and I am immensely pleased, especially with the price point. I shoot black & white so I can't comment on any possible color aberrations, but all of my shots are clean and sharp. It took getting sprayed by waterfalls in the middle of winter very well, cleans easily and threads smoothly. Best paired with 100 speed film on bright sunny days, it only took me down to 1-2 seconds with 400 speed.
