Q: 3. any reason this Shape Composite F3 should not work with Panasonic HPX170?

A: Hi Tim. Thanks for your interest on SHAPE products. This setup will work with your camera. If your use your camera with the flip screen you'll able to comfortably work with it. If you like to use the camera viewfinder instead, you can add an OFF-SET bracket and a pair of 15mm by 6 inches rods in order to have a pleasant experience when shooting by long time. Q: 4. Will this work on the Sony RX1R?

A: I don't own a Sony RX1R but I looked at an RX1RII on B&H website and it lools like it should work fine. That one has a thumbwheel that will be only slightly trickier to turn. I do not know if wheel is in same place on your camera. I've put one on a Fuji X-Pro1 and a Canon G-10, by the way.

Q: 5. Can you use a RED Epic Dragon 6k (DSMC1) with this?

A: This rig is really geared more towards DSLRs and compact video cameras. You could use a RED Epic on it, but it would not be ideal.

Q: 6. Is this a solution is search of a problem?I don't get it ...

A: It's not for everyone I don't imagine. It is for comfort really. It enables you to position your thumb near the control wheel and is designed to allow for easier handling and a more secure hold, while maintaining access to all camera functions.

Q: 7. Will this work on a canon M50?

A: This would not work for a Canon M50.

Q: 8. Does it work with Canon C300 Mark 2?

Similar to the answer we gave you for your previous question, our Composite bundle for the C300 will not fit the C300 Mark II as this camera is physically bigger than the Mark i. The baseplates that we have that will fit the Mark II are our generic baseplates you can find here: https://www.shapewlb.com/universal-baseplate/. We suggest you take a look at our BP12 or BP22.
