I bought an EZ-2 15-40 at the same time I bought the much more expensive 19.5-94mm Optimo zoom and I was able to test it alongside my Zeiss CP primes / and Zeiss 21-100 zoom. The EZ-2 was every bit as sharp as the Optimo, but the Optimo did have a smoother, silkier look. But, surprisingly, not all THAT much. I'd put it right in between the Optimo and the Zeiss CP lenses as far as having the Angenieux look. But for 1/5 of the cost of the Optimo, I was amazed how good this lens looked. Love it. Light weight and, at T2.0 - very fast. Most impressive.

I noticed that my sensor had a lot of dust on it when I shot some images using f/22 - f/45 (long telephoto images). I spent a great amount of time on PhotoShop removing the dust images from my shots. It was actually quicker to clean the sensor than to edit the images.

I was uncomfortable to clean the sensor but after doing some reading I learned that the sensor as a protective coating and if you read the instructions for these products it's OK to clean the CMOS chip. You must read the information and do everything suggested. If you put the swab down on a table it's dirty and cannot be used. You should not use any other cleaner than those recommended. You must clean the mirror box and outside of the camera before working with the sensor. If you have dust in the mirror box, it's just going to get into the camera...

This swab is the right size for my Canon EOS 5D Mark II. It took a couple wipes to get all the dust off the sensor, but it left the CMOS chip perfectly clean, and solved my problem of dust on the sensor. It took a few tries to get everything. I just cleaned, made a couple exposures at f/45, checked them, re-cleaned, until it was done.

There are some dumb examples of cleaning on the web - for example there's this one guy that is in a desert, opening his camera and cleaning it from the back of his truck... That did not impress me - I'd rather be in a closed environment with no dust floating around. Another guy used the swab to scour the sensor - he literally rubbed dozens of times - that did not seem like a good idea either...

This swab must be used with some form of cleaner - I used Eclipse from photographic solutions. This cleaner evaporates very fast and does a good job of cleaning.

Was so happy to see this camera on B&H. The image out of this is amazing.

These swabs never pill and do a great job of wiping off stubborn debris (with the proper fluid).

Was photographing in a very dusty environment and my photos all had spots on them which I couldn't see until downloaded. I blew off the sensor and used a swab with Aeroclipse solution. One swipe to the left and one to the right on the other side of the swab and the sensor looks perfect. Would highly recommend thes products.

Fast, sexy lens. Its built sturdy and is a dream to shoot with in any run-and-gun setting.

It's not exactly Optimo quality but still a gorgeous lens by Angenieux. Covers a good range, has excellent optics, and incredibly fast (T2!). Not too heavy for hand held... And with the replaceable back (to fit full frame) and PL mount it should have a very long life. I own both the EZ1 and EZ2 and together they make a perfect kit.

The packaging was clean, sterile, and professional. Does a nice job on cleaning ip the dirtiest of sensors.

The Kinefinity MAVO LF Mark II offers the best bang for your buck, for a full frame cinema camera! The images coming straight out of the camera cuts perfect with the Arri Mini. In fact, directly from Davinci Resolve, just apply an Arri LUT and the image is unbelievable! Kinefinity has been making cinema cameras since 2011. The latest generation cameras are VERY reliable. Internally, this camera shoots up to 12 bit ProRes 4444XQ (no need for raw).
