A: Yes, the IndiPRO Tools V-Mount Plate for Canon C300 Mark II are adjustable, and will allow you to possition ( tilt) the v-mount.

A: Yes, this has just a single D-Tap. Keep in mind that the battery you use on the plate will usually have at least 1 D-Tap of its own along and maybe even a USB output.

Q: 7. Does this actually mount horizontally? I see that the rod plate can be removed, but I don't see a way to re-orient that rod mount..?

A: You cannot re-orientate the mount. This will only work in a vertical orientation.

Q: 8. Noob question, what does VDC stand for and how would I connect a 5a DC cable through the 12v output?

A: VDC stands for Volts Direct Current. You would only use the power cables included with this kit.

Q: 9. Are there printed labels for each of the output voltage? Couldn't see it in the catalog images...

A: Yes they are labeled.

Q: 10. Will this work with the c300 markiii?

A: Yes, the C300 III uses a 4-pin Lemo for power.

[V-Mount] It's a tight fit on my 9inch 15mm rods, between the camera cage and the battery plate, but this just barely pulls it off, whereas the traditional rod block wouldn't fit. I mount a kondor blue t5 ssd holder onto the cold shoe, to fit between the rear battery plate and the camera + cage in front. Connect via angelbird 50cm/19.6 usbc cable. If you're using 12 rods, there's other options, but this helps keep my rig small for shooting in tight spaces. Glorious. 5

[Connector] This Ikan product delivered what I expected. A good solid build and function. One minor negative is that there is a power switch that does not seem to actually control any of the output ports. 5

[D-Tap: VDC ] This is a lot better made than I expected. I got it to eliminate the need for a cheese plate, v-lock mount, PDU combo I was trying to stack on the back of my rig. This takes care of all of those and is super stable. Also saves the headache of cable management when using d-tap splitters. 5

[1] It's nice when you get a product that just feels good to use! The build feels solid, V- mount feels good coming on and off, and the choice to mount it vertical or horizontal is nice too. I might recommend picking up a longer cable for running power from the side, but besides that super solid product. 5
