This Littlite ANSER LED Desk Light with 12" Gooseneckfrom Littlite ANSER LED Desk Light with 12" Gooseneckis a compact, flexible task light that lets you focus light where required by using the 12" gooseneck. It features a single 3,100K LED with a high CRI of 92 for a warm white light with excellent color rendering. The light also has a good output of 400 lux at 12" and utilizes Constant Current dimming circuitry to allow for adjustments to the output for your needs.

Powering the light is also simple as it can run on 5-28 VDC power with the included power supply that will supply a 12 V current. The ANSER can even be powered over USB with the use of an optional cable and it has a rated lifetime of 60,000 hours.

Q: 1. Will this lamp work without the power supply attached? Does it have a built-in battery?

A: No, the Littlite LW-12-LED Gooseneck Desk Light will not work without the power supply, and it does not have a built-in battery. The light fixture requires AC power from the included 110 VAC power supply.

Q: 2. Will this work on a standard PA system or does it require a pre-amp?

A: This can connect to a standard XLR mic connection on a mixer. The mixer must provide 48v phantom power to run.

Q: 3. Is this ip67 rated?

A: The Littlite ANSER LED Desk Light with 24" Gooseneck (North American Plug) is intended for indoor use therefore does not have an IP rating.

Q: 4. what country is this microphone made in?

A: This microphone is manufactured at Shure's factory in Mexico.

Q: 5. Any idea how to store and transport several of these (we have 12)? I can't find any case made specifically for gooseneck microphones, at this point thinking of just buying multiple large hardshell cases and cutting out foam to somewhat fit them, not ideal or cheap but can't think of any other solution.

A: I don't really know. Ours came in a slim box and the mic was wrapped in bubble wraps.

A: The manufacturer does not provide a compatible adapter to do so.

A: It is and will attach to any standard mic stand.

A: Yes, the Littlite LA-18-HI LA Series Gooseneck Lamp has an onboard rotary dimmer control knob to adjust the brightness of the bulb.

A: Unfortunately the manufacturer has not made these details public not do they seem to be documented .

Q: 10. What is the diameter of bottom part of shock mount? In other words, what size hole should I drill?

A: Per the instructions booklet for the shock mount, 1. Drill a 44mm (1-3/4 in.) hole in desired mounting surface. 2. Mark and drill starter holes for screws, using shock mount as a template. We have the shock mount installed in a podium now, so I can't physically verify this dimension, but my memory is the instructions have this correct.

[12 V] Fits our situation great. The base is heavy enough to keep it stable. A shorter version would have been fine. A lower price would have helped. 5

[12" (30.5 cm)] I'm using this lamp in a very dark room with lots of video and audio monitoring equipment. While the glow from the monitors would normally be okay, I found I was having a hard time making legible notes while in the total darkness. After looking through the list of small lamps here at B&H, I found this one. I've been very impressed with it! The light output when in the red or white mode, has been so great, I removed the lantern I was using to light the area and use this lamp exclusively. It has a nicely weighted base which keeps the unit stable no matter how the neck of the light is twisted and turned. I liked this unit so much, I purchased one for my computer desk at home! 5

[12" (30.5 cm)] A very nice well-made (in the USA) dimmable light. It smoothly transitions from red light at low lighting levels to white light. I use it in my edit suite. I like to keep ambient light low and I use the Littlite as a task light for reading notes, etc. It's the best task light I've ever used. 5

[3,100 K] I work backstage in live events. For years I got by with cheapo desk lamps you could buy at Walmart, etc. and those were okay. Finally just bit the bullet and bought this... because... well it's professional and the ability to dim to the level you need is important. Other techs working backstage don't appreciate you blasting their eyeballs as they're trying to look at camera shots with a blazing bright $15 cheap desklamp. 5

[12" (30.5 cm)] I use this in the video booth at church. Its small head and focus light is ideal in placing the light where it's needed and not on the computer monitors. I've ordered a second one for use elsewhere in the same AV area. Not sure the benefit of red illumination at lower light levels. My preference would be for white at all levels. Since I always run it at full output, this is not an issue. 5

[12" (30.5 cm)] Bought this for a turntable I have for my headphone setup in my office, already have a littlite for my main system downstairs which is why I jumped on this one. Love the way it goes from dim to bright and then mixed in the white light till fully bright and the light provided is if very good quality, very easy to see with. I love it. Tooblue 5
