Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will the Gura 22l hold a Sigma 150-600mm on one side?

A: Yes, this pack can hold the Sigma 150-600mm lens in one of the two compartments.

Q: 2. Has anyone had experience putting this under a standard airplane seat?

A: Yes it fits

Q: 3. Will this bag fit the Sony 400mm f2.8, either with or without Sony A1 attached?

A: No, the Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM OSS Lens will not fit in the Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 Backpack (Black, 22L). The lens has a 6.22" diameter which is to large for the 4.72" interior depth of the bag.

Q: 4. Will the case accommodate a Canon 500/4 lens?

A: Unfortunately, this backpack cannot accommodate a Canon EF 500mm f/4L II lens.

Q: 5. Will the 22L bag fit in the overhead of a small commuter jet? Some of those compartments are very shallow.

A: Airlines typically have a variety of planes (including various different commuter jet models), so a universal answer would not be possible. However, several users have commented that they were able to fit this backpack under the seat in a normal jet airplane. It would thus seem that you would have a good chance with the overhead commuter jet compartments. We'd recommend contacting the airline you would be using to get the dimensions of those compartments and comparing them to those of this backpack: 18.11 x 13.39 x 5.91" / 46 x 34.01 x 15.01 cm

Q: 6. What are dimensions of 22l+ and 30l+ including handles please?

A: The exterior dimensions of the Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 Backpack (Black, 22L+) are 18.11 x 13.39 x 5.91", and the exterior dimensions of the Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 Backpack (Black, 30L+) are 20.47 x 12.6 x 6.69".

Q: 7. Is there anyway to a pro-size body (1dx) with lens attached, even the body on its side? Does the top have any flexibility?

A: You'd have to have the lens and camera separate for it to fit.

Q: 8. Will this hold a Sony A1 with the Sony 400-600mm attached?

A: This did not work with the A1 attached to the 600mm. However it can fit if you keep the camera unattached to the lens. I would consider looking at the 30L variant of this bag if you want it to fit attached.

Q: 9. Can the Gura 22L hold a D500 with 200-500 lens attached and an 810 with a70-200 attached?

A: Yes, they will fit.

Q: 10. I am trying to find out if my camera equipment will fit, I have 2 bodies, the Olympus OMD-M1X and a Mark III body, lenses to carry are Olympus 12-40; 40-150; 7-14 and 150-400 pro lenses; and a 13 inch thin laptop, these are the large pieces, multiple small items, teleconverter etc. Will this fit? Anything else to suggest that can be carried on; I have a 26 mindshift but the new 150=400 is an issue

A: Yes, that will all fit in the Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 22L Backpack (Black) (B&H# GUK2022LP). The Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm f/4.5 TC1.25X IS PRO Lens (B&H# OL15040045) will be snug, but it'll fit.

[Yes] A very nice backpack. I have one for my Nikon D850 rig and another for my Nikon F6 rig.

[Zipper] I switched from an Abbonyc backpack that has held up well with lots of abuse. It was about $70 new and I am not displeased with it. This is not a comparison of the two backpacks but a review of my upgrade from a decent traditional style camera backpack to the Kiboko. After purchasing the Kiboko 2.0 22L+, overall I feel like I got value for difference in cost from the Abbonyc. Here are the pros and cons.
Pros: Durable materials and quality craftsmanship; Verticle access flaps are great - no more flipping the entire front side over. I chose the 2.0 because I felt like the 3.0 would be too big and I like that the 2.0 has a laptop slot. I was right the 2.0 has plenty of room for my equipment. An example of what it can hold - 200-500mm zoom while attached to camera body, binoculars on one side; a full frame camera body, 70-200 f2.8, 16-36mm, 50mm and two teleconverters. The top flap holds all of the flat stuff like cables, cards, filters etc. with plenty of room.
My only complaint is that I wish the main compartments were just a little deeper so that lenses like my 16-36mm did not have to lay down. Still, it has plenty of room, durable, good back supports and stands upright. Great product!

[18.9 x 14 x 10"] My equipment: Nikon D500, 500 PF lens, Nikon Z6, 80-400 lens, adaptor, several small lenses, binoculars, etc all fit nicely into this camera bag. Quality, butterfly opening and small zippered storage pockets set this camera bag apart from other camera bags: this unit will serve me for many years.

Note: this new bag is a little different than the bag shown in the video, no side handle, straps do not fold into the back of the bag and laptop slides in from the side. These are of little importance to me but the video should be removed.

[18.9 x 14 x 10"] I have the previous Gura Gear and just got this one.  Love that it has the space for the computer on the back, also zippers are super easy to pull open/closed.  It comes already with the butterfly zipper adjustment ready so you dont have to open all of the top part, but just the side you will be needing.  Also has a back support cushion so the laptop which is right there wont hit your back.  Shoulder straps are padded and it comes with a big waist strap to use it when taking on long trips so it wont be to hard to carry it.  It also comes with a strap on each side where you can put your tripod inside a pocket and hold it with that strap.   I love all the improvements and the color.

[Yes] Been wanting this bag for a while and decided to jump on it while on sale with $100 off. Plenty of room for me and my wife's gear. Holds my Sigma 150-600 on one side with plenty of space for other things like our lens hoods, our Black Rapid straps and more. We have two Canon DSLR bodies in the other side along with 4 lenses, including a 300mm, also with plenty of space left over for our filters, chargers, batteries, etc. On top of each of the two butterfly closures there is another long zippered flap that opens with pockets inside to hold our cables, disc drives, tools, more filters, cleaning brushes, etc. Laptop pouch on back is nice. THIS IS A BIG BAG!!! It's heavy when loaded down with a laptop and a big zoom lens, but comfortable to wear with all kinds of adjustable straps. Great padding everywhere and comes with more than enough compartment insert pieces and a rain cover. Pricey, but it just may be the last bag you ever buy as far as durability and quality.

[Universal] I have not had the opportunity to take it out into the field but it certainly lives up to its listing expectations - I am very satisfied with this purchase I have both a Nikon D-850 & P1000 and they fit nicely in this backpack with a lot of the lenses for the D-850

[Universal] Needed this for my D500 with 200-500 in one side then my Z6 and Z7 on the other with their lenses. Just love the butterfly opening. Very comfortable for me. Lots of room for accessories. Heavy with what I bring but I am used to it. Can't imagine with a 600mm and the larger 30L. Great bag. I would buy again.
